My 9 year old son likes Lego's, but I cannot help notice some of the religious overtones with their toys. Look on the right in this photo, it shows a bronze serpent (a cobra) on a pole. The cover for this particular toy shows the Ninja shown on the right holding this pole emitting some type of force to fight the red Ninja. Notice the blue button with a swirl design mounted on the pole. Anybody recognize this symbol and know what it means?

This is a big deal only if you make it into one. Your nine year old sees it as a toy let him enjoy it. Most people of your generation enjoyed STAR WARS and people of my generation enjoyed all the stories of violence;Jack and the beanstalk, the big Bad Wolf and so on and I don't think it warped us too much. Lets not pick the fly specks out of the pepper

My aunt would not allow her son to play with He Man action figures. But her son was allowed to play with My Little Pony toys. Hmmm..... He Man uses sorcery and will warp my son, but playing with My Little Ponies won't turn him into an effeminate child (he did grow up to be a h*m*s3xu4l by the way).

I never understood that thought process.

My objection to Lego is that they cost and arm and a leg. Those imports be 'spensive!

Give me a break. So the guys at Lego were sitting around thinking of a cool new toy. One said, "Hey, I know, lets make a brass serpent on a pole, nobody has ever thought of that!"

    There's one born every minute.

So how can we degenerate this thread into a Cal vs non-Cal flame war? I mean, that's what we're all about, right?

Maybe they said "Let's make this JUST for winman, and see how he reacts...!" and to bring JKDBUCK76 and his comment into it as well, they added "...afterall, he's a non-cal!"

    Lighten up, Francis!

You got to be careful with those Ninjas. I have one sitting out in my driveway. Can't wait for warmer weather so I can go for a ride!

Look at the face just above the front wheel. Its *clearly* Satan.

But wait! Satan and Santa have the exact same letters in thier names!

    That settles it...

    Lego is OBVIOUSLY promoting satanism!!!

    Boycot Lego! ...boycot...boycot !!!
