as he seem to infer that while baptism was part of the message, the Gospel was so much more of the message!

see 1 Corithian 1:14/16, Apostle did not seem to make baptism such a "big deal" as seem to make it!

==I'm not sure how that makes much difference. The Lord Jesus made a very big deal about water baptism. So much of a big deal, in fact, that it was one of his final messages to mankind (Matt 28:19-20, Mk 16:14-16). The Gospel saves but that does not mean that baptism is "not such a big deal". It is a big deal for believers.

Can I ask a question: Have you been baptized? If not, you should be if you are a believer in Christ.

Martin, I would like to ask of you and all others.

How are we to understand the word baptizing?

Lets look at 1 Cor. 10:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto (the) Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

How is baptized to be understood in that passage and was it relative to just water or to water and other things?

Matt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them (all nations) in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Is the baptizing spoken of in Matthew 28 relative in the same way or different? Why is it addressed to all nations? Do we baptize nations?
    What does this mean?

I guess we also have to take under consideration the wording of Mark whether in original or not.

That’s pretty close to stating it. There is also Romans 6:4. And there is not a single instance where we read of Paul leading someone to Christ and neglecting to baptize them. In fact he always baptized them immediately. No watchcare, no period of training or observation, no waiting to see if the new Christian understood what he was doing. Even the Corinthians, only a few of whom were baptized by Paul, were baptized by someone, probably Silas and Timothy. “[M]any of the Corinthians when they heard were believing and being baptized.” Acts 18:8. It seems to me that Paul made a very big deal of baptism.
