Woke up to see this 150 feet from my back door. OH the temptation and I don't even hunt!!!

We had in grand total 3 bucks. The one on the right looked big but had small antlers there that were uneven - maybe they were broken? The one on the left was an 8 pointer. Then there was another one behind them over our yard debris pile that I didn't see until later that was a 6 pointer. What's wild about this is that we live in suburbia! Lots of houses, lots of cars. SO cool!!

    Mmm. Deer jerkey!

We had that happen when we lived in Oregon. I was on my way to work and a HERD of them were just marching right down Main street. Cars had to pull over, they were just going right down the road, not even on the sidewalk. Rude! They all appeared to be females though. I didn't know males would hang out together! That is pretty cool.

I didn't know they'd hang out together either but it was definitely three males unless our white tailed deer all have antlers!! :D

White-tailed deers are known to develop small antlers,,,females. That's what we have on our land and they group in winter, both male and females. The males lose their antlers over winter and we find them all over the place.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Beautiful deer, Ann! We have a few that hang around near our house. One day I saw they had left a deposit right between our cars in the driveway!

That's so cool. I love deer. I've NEVER in all my life seen them around where i lived. Ever! I've seen them at the barn sometimes and just saw tracks the other day but to have them here in our village is really weird!!

Want to see our Black bears too? They pass 20 feet from back of house.

Lots of wildlife on our 100 acres.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Beautiful, Ann!

We have them in our neighborhood, but not like that one! We have only seen doe and fawns, never a buck.

    Nice buck.

This is 12 feet outside my home office window. Sorry about the clarity, but it was low light and I could only quickly grab my point and shoot camera.
