As they are a sizable number of the Christian Church? Should we be dialoging official with their leadership/churches?

If they are lost we should, but we should also reach out to Baptists who are lost.

was NOT looking upon this as saved/unsaved, more as of outreach to better understanding between 2 large groups of Christians!

Talking with them, probably yes. But reaching out to join with them as some kind of super-denomination, I'd say no, because Baptists and pentecostal are different in many areas such as a 2nd work of grace, continuing revelation, the sign gifts and probably other areas.

The questions is not are they christians.

Sorry my mistake. As long as the reaching does not require the acceptance of false doctrine and does not compromise the truth or cause a weak brother to stumble in any way I think it is fine.

Think that we would have to learn how to define the terms between 2 groups, and realise that we can have dialog with say Assemblies of God, not though wof types!

just was approaching this from viewpoint of trying to understand each others beliefs, and see if there might be a median point could agree to !

Since we would probably represent the 2 largest populations within non RCC circles, shouldn't we try to see if there would be any way to at least adopt a "compatible" factor, as we would do better against the common foe than at each other!

We know what they believe. They know what most Baptist believe, why do we need a median point? We're not going to get together and I wouldn't support it if we did.

So we should dialogue with heretics in order to join them in a co-belligerency against Roman Catholicism?

What is it that we would do better? How would we do it, and where would we do it?

Just was asking if it would be possible to reach an understanding across our 2 lines in the church...

again, NOT saying we are called to do anything with WoF/prosperity/Signs and wonders heretical groups within their 'camp", but do think can have useful inderstandings with say those in the "moderate" biblical camp!

they are the largest growing aspect of the Christian church in many areas on earth today, and just think we can "learn' from each other in some ways....

again, i do not 'broad brush" all pentacostalists/charasmatics into being same grouping!

WoF/hagins/Copelands/Hinns etc are heretical, while there are many in say assemblies of God are biblical, just have their distinctive(misinerpreting) biblical doctrines, but still hold to the Gospel of jesus, real one!

THAT is the group we can and should relate to as believers in Christ, as we could try to see wheere we come from, agree to disagree, and move forward to advance Jesus into this World!
