For someone who doesn't like the man as a candidate, you sure seem to have Ron Paul on the brain. Surely he doesn't worry you.

    I voted 19-22%

Poll Shows Paul, Huntsman Gaining In NH
Updated: Sunday, 08 Jan 2012, 12:58 PM EST
    Published : Sunday, 08 Jan 2012, 12:58 PM EST

"(NewsCore) - Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney continues to hold a strong lead in New Hampshire, but his support is slipping while Ron Paul and Jon Huntsman are making gains, according to a new poll released Sunday.

Meanwhile, the momentum former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum received from his close second-place finish in the Iowa caucuses appears to have stalled in New Hampshire. His support has slipped one percentage point overnight to eight percent, putting him in fifth place.

The latest Suffolk University/7News two-day tracking poll shows that Romney's support has declined for the fourth day in a row and now stands at 35 percent. That represents a drop of four percentage points since the previous Suffolk poll on Saturday, when he had the support of 39 percent of likely voters in Tuesday's primary."

IMHO, fifth place is an excellent spot for the war/fear mongering Santorum. I wish him the worst, as far as the primaries go. I'd vote for Obama before I'd vote for him.

Regardless of whether or not Ron Paul is correct in his opinions, he will never be elected to the presidency. Like it or not, we will probably either have another four years of Obama, or we will have Romney in the White House.

    You are absoutely right.

IF, and thats a big IF - if Paul does get a high %....
and that goes for any candidate - there are two things to keep in mind.

First, the motto is "Live Free or Die"
Second, the population of NH is about 130,000 - that is less than half of Iowa.
I do agree that evey vote counts - but the real test will come in SC - population of about 4.5 million
and then on 31 Jan - Florida's population grew from 12,937,926 to 15,982,378.
