Wow, what a fracas for the whole world to see.

"The governor’s statement failed to provoke much excitement on the debate stage. Asked whether he agreed with Perry, Newt Gingrich simply said, “Well, no. … “"

....heehee, we'll never know what he would've said had Perry's statement met with great applause. IMO, these neocons don't get it, Americans in general are sick of war. To me, a strong hawkish stance on their part will only result with Obama's foreign policy looking even better.

But Obama's foreign policy is the neocon's foreign policy. To the letter.

Poncho, I'm writing this 'off the cuff', meaning I haven't searched anything out on the web first to verify anything.

It seems to me Obama (or Hillary) has been doing an excellent job at diplomacy and at getting other countries to join in [other than military action] with the efforts of the U.S.. Iran for example, even China and Europe are now cooperating with sanctions to put pressure on Iran (I don't want Iran to become nuclear armed, but I don't want the U.S. to invade or bomb them to prevent it), and Iran is feeling it. Iran is a biggie. If Obama comes out victorious in his effort to stifle Iran's nuclear ambition without a war, he's going to be an international hero, jmho.

The Taliban are coming to peace talks (somewhere in the ME (anyway, I think that's a good thing, it's ALWAYS GOOD TO COMMUNICATE)). Hillary's done good in Burma (can't think of their new (or old) name). I don't really know what to say about the whole 'Arab Spring' deal, other than it pleased me to see nations other than the U.S. (like France) take the lead in Libya.

In short, there's been NO NEW INVASIONS with U.S. troops of other countries during Obama's administration, but a whole lot of apparent cooperation/diplomacy with/from other countries. You know, like the U.S. had always done in the past, [before the neocons came to be]. <EDIT

These things are going to look good for him come election time, ESPECIALLY IF HIS STRATEDGY PREVAILS WITH IRAN.

The Arab spring deal was all contrived. The state dept and it's corporate sponsors funded, armed and trained the "protestors" for many years prior. It's called waging war by proxy. An old imperial strategy of tension meant to destabilze another nation.

The whole thing is a huge lie. The Chinese and Russians know this because the state dept and it's corporate sponsors are doing the same thing to China and Russia today.

All the "winding down" is just shuffling pieces around the geopolitical chessboard. We're drawing back to the original neocon plan of having a "lean mean fighting machine". We cannot fight so many wars at the same time so we are pulling back and getting ready to attack another county in the original neocon line up of countries that the neocons feel need to be brought under the control of the "international community" aka NWO. It's always been about global hegemony. Says so in their own writtings and policy papers. It's never been about fighting terrorism or bringing democracy to the world.

For more information and evidence go to landdestroyer.com

Tony explains it all very well.

But you are right all this deception is designed to make Obama look like some kind of hero and sadly most of the "dead from the neck up" corporately informed americans will fall for it hook line and sinker. In short, it's election year political theater. Nothing more. The neocon policy of pre emptive, endless warfare and global hegemony continues on without a hitch.

I'm reading the link and digesting it; had to take a pause to point this out; excerpt from Cartalucci's article:

“Brookings notes on page 24, that the real threat is not the deployment of these weapons, but rather the deterrence they present, allowing Iran to counter US influence in the region without the fear of an American invasion. In other words, the playing field would become level and America may be forced to recognize Iran's national sovereignty in regards to its own regional interests.”

...conforms perfectly with what Rosenberg is bringing out here concerning AEI conclusions:

    http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?p=1773711#post1773711

“......Danielle Pletka, head of the American Enterprise Institute's (AEI) foreign policy shop and one of the most prominent neoconservatives in Washington, explained what the current obsession with Iran's nuclear program is all about.

The biggest problem for the United States is not Iran getting a nuclear weapon and testing it, it's Iran getting a nuclear weapon and not using it. Because the second that they have one and they don't do anything bad, all of the naysayers are going to come back and say, "See, we told you Iran is a responsible power. We told you Iran wasn't getting nuclear weapons in order to use them immediately." ... And they will eventually define Iran with nuclear weapons as not a problem......

We're fixated on the Iranian nuclear program while the Tehran regime has its eyes on the real prize: the balance of power in the Persian Gulf and the greater Middle East.

This admission that the problem with a nuclear Iran is not that it would attack Israel but that it would alter the regional balance of power is incredibly significant.....”

Keep in mind though that AEI is itself a corporate funded think tank. It's bread and butter comes from the same mega global corporations that benefit from endless wars and the construction of the american police state. It's all about more money, more power, and more control for the few.

The above is the plain truth so many fail to see, don't wish to see, would do anything to avoid seeing. These aren't Bush's policies or Obama's policies they are globalist policies. Bush and Obama are just following the policies thier mega global corporate sponsors through their control of these "think tanks" put on their desks. Period. Has nothing to do right vs left or dems vs repubs or liberals vs conservatives.

Got nothing to do with security or protecting "american interests" it's about creating the conditions to amass more wealth, more power and more control for the few. That's it.

Because they know few people will bother to read their writtings. Most folks prefer to be "educated" by the mega global corporation's other propaganda arm instead.
The Mainstream Corporate Media. In between the mega global corporate sponsored football games and NASCAR races while eating the mega global corporate produced GMO munchies and sucking down mega global corporate produced Coca Colas. It's sooo much easier.

The Coca Cola company among others is a corporate "advisor" to the racist organiztion known as Le Raza BTW.

Keep on reading Tony's stuff. Like this, and this and this and this. You'll get the picture.

    I generally agree with this.

You have a list of names or faces to assign to these 'few'?

[edit] Satan is master at playing the two ends against the middle.

So, you want me to name names then? Mmmm, Okay.

    Conclusion

These organizations represent the collective interests of the largest corporations on earth. They not only retain armies of policy wonks and researchers to articulate their agenda and form a consensus internally, but also use their massive accumulation of unwarranted influence in media, industry, and finance to manufacture a self-serving consensus internationally.

To believe that this corporate-financier oligarchy would subject their agenda and fate to the whims of the voting masses is naive at best. They have painstakingly ensured that no matter who gets into office, in whatever country, the guns, the oil, the wealth and the power keep flowing perpetually into their own hands. Nothing vindicates this poorly hidden reality better than a "liberal" Nobel Peace Prize wearing president, dutifully towing forward a myriad of "Neo-Con" wars, while starting yet another war in Libya.

Perry is my governor. Have you ever heard of "The Peter Principle"? Here's hoping he doesn't get 'promoted' to a higher level of incompetence.

There's nothing new under the sun.

There's nothing new about the 'Peter Principle'; it's been a fact of life for a long time. Per Solomon:

I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking like servants upon the earth. Ecc 10:7
