This may be an oldie, but it is always a goodie!!!

God won't ask what kind of car you drove, but He'll ask how many people you helped get where they needed to go...

God won't ask the square footage of your house, but He'll ask how many people you welcomed into your home...

God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet, but He'll ask how many you helped to clothe...

God won't ask how many friends you had, but He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend...

God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived, but He'll ask how you treated your neighbors...

God won't ask about the color of your skin, but He'll ask about the content of your character...

God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation, but He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in Heaven, and not to the gates of hell...

God won't ask how many MBs or GBs your computer you had, or how fast your processor was, but He will ask what you did for Him while you used your computer and how you treated others while you were on-line...(this is my addition to this classic)

So what will your answer(s) be?

It may be an oldie, but I hadn't seen it. Thank you for sharing and for adding to it. Everybody sitting in front of a keyboard should be thinking about your addition, BEFORE they hit the send button, IMHO.

    Thanks.

    You Are Both Very.....

...welcome! And I mean that! As for the added thought, when the Holy Ghost moves on and in you, if you don't write it or do it, He'll find some one else to do what He gave to you to do!

I learned that lesson years ago. I'd be sitting in Sunday evening church, or men's Bible study and when the opportunity to share an answer, or a testimony came up, I'd sit there and swollow my tongue.

Well, it was like nano-seconds, but someone else would give the answer or a similar testimony. blowing my Holy Ghosted prompted words totally away.

I decided, after having seen this happen numerous times, to no longer let "grass grows under my feet!" And this add on was one of those moments. Had I not added it, someone else would surely have added it, and I'd be thinking, Wow! I could've and should've done that.

I failed on the last one two days ago on BB, and was smart alec to a poster I did not agree with. He graciously forgave me after some message exchanges. It is an easy one to do on issues you feel strongly about.

    At Least....

...you apologised. In all my years on the board, I've admitted my mistakes, but never had another capitulate. Your humbleness and willingness to be convicted and admit to your wrong is what makes you different from a "true smart Alec!"God bless you, and keep up the good work...for your info - I am trying very hard to practice what I preach, and not let the strength of my feelings cause me to lose it on-line.

My witness for Jesus is more important than me being justified by my own ego!

I need that printed twice on a t-shirt. Once as it appears above for others to see. And, once in CAPTIAL reverse letters so I can read it every time I look into a mirror.

Sometimes it ain't easy to sit on my hands to keep them off the keyboard. Thank the Lord there's a back button and the Holy Spirit asking "Do you really want to post that reply?". Submitting to Him is far better than hitting that Submit button. I tend to get in trouble every time I don't listen.
