It is with a heavy heart that I report that Mitt lost the SC primary tonight. The angel Macaroni and the golden leafs just couldn't pull him through.

We as Americans should be comparing two candidates to see which one has the best set of positive qualities that will make this country a better place to live our lives and raise our families. This is the way it used to be. Over the last several decades, we have seen an ever increasing erosion of that quality. Today, we as Americans are forced to choose not a set of positive qualities, or even neutral ones. Today, Americans ponder which one will bring the nation down the fewest notches in four years, or who will do the less damage. What has happened to us?

When one considers three pathetic individuals in the form of Gingrich, Obama, and Romney to lead this nation, how can any rational person possibly come to any conclusion? What is the point of handing over the leadership of this country to pure trash?

I am reminded of this verse:

Im reminded of Lincoln's desperate position when it was realistic that he could very well loose the wo'ah & he was forced to put both Grant (a known alcoholic & looser in anything he did till the War) & Sherman (a nut job) to command the field. Lincoln's point... "At least they fight"

Gingrich isnt a "maybe" stiff & he fights.....that may be Conservative Americas only hope against BO & Axelrod and the Socialist scourge. Otherwise start embracing another European like country. You decide.

I have decided. My vote is never again going for a liberal Republican like Bush or McCain. My vote is going for a decent third party candidate.

Then keep your mouth shut if Obama gets back in office.

First of all, you do not tell me to shut up. It is people like you that have created the catch 22 we find ourselves in every election. You would sell your very soul to vote Republican, when they are exactly like Democrats. You deserve Obama being reelected and everything that goes with it. Good enough for you. If I recall, you state cast its electoral votes for Obama.

No. I will tell YOU to shut up, for supporting a stupid, liberal, Obama clone, instead of supporting someone who offers a real choice.

If the Republicans want me to vote for their guy, they need to nominate someone worth voting for. I am not wasting my vote on Mitt Romney.

What exactly are people like me and how do you know exactly what I am? Are you some sort of mind reader?

I deserve Obama being reelected, yet I'm the one that is going to attempt to stop that from happening...unlike you.

What does the electoral votes from my state have to do with me?

I didn't waste my primary vote on Romney either. I've already sent in my vote for the Florida primary and it was for Paul.

I will however, be a big boy, and a responsible person, and not throw away my vote in the general election and make it easier for Obama to be reelected.

You can think that way. OR you can say, "If we keep falling for their tricks, and electing whoever they put up. they are going to keep putting up these liberal goofballs."

Maybe if we send them a hardline message, that we WILL NOT compromise, maybe they will stop pushing these Obama clones on us...

You are attempting nothing except a total lack of understanding. The result of your actions is to replace Obama with the exact same thing. You accomplish just what you claim to be against. No, I am not a mind reader. I have read the Constitution. Instead of aiding and abetting the nomination of liberal Republicans for the last 20 years, had you and those like you who value the name Republican above the terms Constitution and conservative, we would have a choice in 2012. Instead, we have a choice of two liberals who are going to expand the federal deficit, expand government, raise taxes, allow moral deterioration to continue, and rob freedom, liberty and money from future generations. Way to go.

Voting for a third party is not making it easier for Obama to be reelected. It is voting for a third party.

So, how did that work for you in '08?

It is time to stop voting either of the Republicrats in 2012. If enough of us would stop playing their little game somebody would be forced to play the game our way.

I agree, I've been going third party for president from Bush 1 on and it looks like I'll do it again this time. I can not back Newt or Paul and not for Romney. Looks like third party again.

Thanks for that post. Sometimes it seems like most value the word Republican above honesty, integrity, and conservative.

It seems like some just like to keep repeating the same old tired lines.

I couldn't give two hoots about the republican party. What you don't seem to understand is that if we are presented with only two candidates each go around then the responsible thing to do is to vote for the one that is going to cause the least amount of damage.

You rail against Bush, but you had better believe that Bush caused less damage than Gore or Kerry. Do you think Gore or Kerry would have signed in the ban on partial birth abortions?

You folks keep voting for your third party candidates and throwing your votes away. The rest of us will continue to be responsible citizens and vote for the lesser of two evils.

We understand. Honestly, do you just copy-and-paste the same lines from previous posts? It must save you a lot of time with typing.
