The Law is our school master to show what sin is.

Galatians 3:24-25 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Not under the law in the sense of the jewish peoples were under Old Covenant, as they were obligated to keep all of its provisions and laws....

Think jesus kept all of the law, God credits that obedience to us, and our obligation under new Covenant is to love God and others, by allowing the HS to produce His fruit in our lives now!

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh,
    but after the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
[ie: walking in the Spirit] hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

    Romans 8:1,2,4

If you are not walking in the Spirit, then for all practical purposes, you are still "under the Law".

If you have not subdued/subjugated the carnal nature (Ego/Self, "natural man") then you are exposed to Satanic accusations,
lack of inspiration of the Holy Spirit, guidance of the Holy Spirit, etc.
And will either develop a judgmental attitude toward other Christians (most common problem in the Church today)
or distance yourself from other Christians and become isolated and defeated.
Either way, if you are not walking in the Spirit, then you are laying up for yourself "wood, hay, and stubble".

So we now no longer live under the law, but under the influence/control of the HS in us?

that the law was meant for people who were "just flesh', but now by the enabling of the HS in us, we can actually live for God as we were meant to?

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is evil." Ecclesiastes 12:13,14

Are God's commandments burdensome to those who are truly born again?
"For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith." 1 John 5:3, 4

What motive should prompt us to keep God's law?
"If you love Me, keep My commandments." John 14:15

    1John 2:4
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

    1 John 3:9
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit (practice) sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot (practice) sin, because he is born of God.

Who will be admitted into heaven?
"Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city." Revelation 22:14

We "keep" them by abiding in Christ, by yielding to the control of the HS in our lives, correct?

if we submit to lordship of Christ moment by moment, he will keep law in us, when we fail to abide, try to live by the flesh, fail?

Like I said in another thread somne people hate the commands of God.
    2Cor 5:9-11
Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Who will be admitted into heaven?
"Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city." Revelation 22:14
