Dr. Voddie Baucham gets snuffed by James MacDonald

    My guess is that Dr. Voddie Baucham is not overly concerned or feeling left out.

    Baucham attributes his being invited to participate in the Elephant Room to "tokenism", but says "the racial overtones of this matter have gotten out of hand".

    This whole Elephant in the Room thing is (while having some good features) troublesome.

    For starters I'm definitely concerned about the celebrity attached with the people having conversations.
    Also, having seen this going on, the arrogance of some of the pastors is unsettling.

    I don't think its a good thing, for a lot of reasons. This is just another example.

    Perhaps the larger point here is that Brothers McDonald and Driscoll proved they are ill equipped to handle insightful theological conversations. I noticed this in the transcripts I read too.

    I'm with you, too much celebrities. It's like 1 Corinthians 1-4 all over again. Equally, we need Paul's Cross-centered rebuke.
