In the American culture there is always the threat of rebellion. In fact, Thomas Jefferson wrote that from time to time in order to bring a freshness to the government a certain amount of rebellion was acceptable. Part of the Texas spirit is a certain independence (we have our own power grid, navy, army, fly our flag equal to the US,...). The last battle of the Great Civil war was on Texas soil and was started by a cowardly blue-bellied Yankee officer who broke the gentleman's agreement.

But this thread isn't about that kind of rebellion. It is about union. The union as Paul writes:

"Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:..."

To this end, I have an appeal to the BB to demonstrate by Scriptures the answers to the following questions that I have been working through. And, I want to see aspects of scriptures that I may have perhaps misapplied, misappropriated, and or misconstrued. By your answers I hope to gain insight into the matter.

    The questions:

Do you hold regeneration as a single event?

Do you hold regeneration as a point of start with certain renewing (restrengthening) aspects throughout this earthly living and completed when given the new body?

Exactly when did the regeneration start?

Is regeneration complete at the inception, or is it completed by____ when ____?

What attributes are part of the regeneration?

What attributes have a copy in the fallen man?

    I neglected to add.

If you hold regeneration takes place at salvation, then how is it that unregenerate man can be attentive to the gospel?
