    Hmmm...

An exponential increase since Obama was elected. :tonofbricks:

    Not a surprise.

Funny, based on all the promises I expected a mass exodus during Bush's 8 years.

In would be nice if we had a clear indication of why the people left.

Liberals are liars. Their promises mean nothing.

From the URL "or terminating their long-term U.S. permanent residency"

In other words, returning to their home country.

Not completely. It's not quantified, but that was a nice try at minimization. Just didn't quite pull it off.

Others could just as easily say it was all citizens and be just as right as you think you are.

The expatriation tax provisions under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) sections 877 and 877A apply to US citizens who have renounced their citizenship and long-term residents (as defined in IRC 877(e)) who have ended their US resident status for federal tax purposes. Different rules apply according to the date upon which you expatriated.

Regardless of who they are, I believe the reason is Obama. There is no other explanation.

Obama's continuous calll for tax increases and his anti business policies are to blame. Running off taxpayers is costing the U.S. a lot of tax money.
