I voted Yes, most definately not due to politics but because it is the sporting choice. When I was a young sprite, my Papa taught me how to hunt. Papa said it was the sporting thing to ensure you harvested your game and never abandon a wounded animal in the woods.

President Obama has wounded this fine country. It would be a shame not to give him the chance to finish the kill.

It is that he will "finish the kill" that so worries me...

With all the current indicators, another Obama term will seal America's fate, and I believe that is the precise intent. He is making decision every day that go directly against the well-being of America as a nation and people are buying in. Sad state of affairs, but one that has been carefully orchestrated since the end of WWII (and before in rudimentary fashion) to allow the entrance of a Marxist worldview to be palatable to the American populace.

Many have written and laid out their plans, starting with Marcuse and his followers (research Ramparts Magazine). They are moving in the precise direction they intended to move, starting with the overhaul of America's educational system so as to indoctrinate a large percentage of the populace with Marxist ideology and make it mainstream.

With that indoctrination and a dialectic of speech and promise followed by other action, the entire concept has come to fruitition in Obama, the "secret" candidate who cannot and will not reveal his true nature to the people.

If we re-elect him, I predict that it will be our last election as Americans. Yes, we ARE that deep into the hole right now.

To say he deserves it is to suggest he somehow has earned the right or is worthy of it. So no he does not deserve it nor is he worthy of another term.

I voted no. He has been a disaster. We were on a bad road before him, he's turned onto a worse road and floored it.

The real question, IMO, is whether our nation deserves him. I am of the mind that God is using Obama to bring us down, and we deserve it.

No elected public official at the state or national level deserves another term.

At this point our country will only be better off if we remove all of them in elections for the next 4 cycles and bring in fresh new leaders...then vote all of them out of office.

I'm voting against every incumbent for the next 4 years.

That is reactionary and will ultimately leave our government in worse shape than it is in currently for there will be no one who knows how to actually make it run -- EXCEPT -- the full-time (LIBERAL) staffers who make their life work actually running this nation for elected officials.

I disagree with this completely. One the government that governs least governs best is my fundamental political philosophy. So the more time elected officials spend trying to find their stapler and the less time they spend caucasusing the better IMHO.

Also, the more complicated a system of government the more it needs to be simplified. Too many cooks ruin the soup.

Finally, the fundamental processes of government at the federal and state level is done by agencies and organizations affiliated with but not reliant on the electorate. The world won't stop and milk will still be delivered if we proceed down this course.

I'm just saying that maybe if we take up the power to boot all these rubes out if office things will start to change. :)

I believe that you misunderstand what I said above.

The elected candidates rarely if ever actually RUN anything. The entrenched political hacks that they hire run our nation. If we elect persons who do not know how to run the system the hacks will -- as they are now for the most part.

Never == NEVER == toss the baby out with the bath water! Bad call. There are GOOD people in Washington -- not many and certainly not enough -- but some good people. We DREAM that we could be having this conversation about Paul Ryan for instance...
