We are born again through the enduring word of God.

What is our mothers womb are you sure it is from our natural mother or is it figurative language?

It is spiritual, figurative language.....born from above.....not reborn from the
    womb....Nicodemus did not understand.

The phrase "mother's womb" occurs 15 times in the NKJV and 13 times in the KJV. Are you thinking about one particular bible passage?

I see that Iconoclast has replied assuming that you are talking about the conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus, but I cannot see anything in the OP to indicate that. Perhaps this is a folllow-up to a previous thread.

Actually Nicodemus is a good place to start. There is so many carnal minded people and the Prophets in scripture were so Spiritual discerning, but Jesus had to talk to explain things through earthy things.

When the Prophets of old was talking about in the mothers womb were they talking about their actual earthly mother or the new life being born through the Holy Spirit a Christians mother and it starts through the word of God?

    Matthew 11:
12 From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence,[Or been forcefully advancing] and violent people have been raiding it. 13 For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John. 14 And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come. 15 Whoever has ears, let them hear.

I am not talking about John the Baptist who is Spiritual Elijah nor Jesus who is the one chosen from the foundation of the world (not in Him like the rest of us).
