It is sickening. It was also expected. I know many people don't like to reference Hitler and that era of German history but it would do us a lot of good if people would research it out. We are on the same road, whether we know it or not. A good place to start would be to read the biography "Bonhoeffer" by Metaxas.

We've left Hitler in our dust.

Maybe in numbers but we have not begun to see the extent of our sin. Hitler did not see his either, but the German people sure did. They still feel the effects today.

It was only a matter of time before someone with the added credibility of the job title of ethicist affirmed the morality of infanticide.

It'll be the seniors next, mark my words.

With euthanasia laws what they are in some states I think seniors have already been added to the list. Time will tell how fast we head down that road. What we do know is that this was planned by the progressives long ago.

Australia has quite the history. If you haven't seen it, "Rabbit Proof Fence" is an excellent movie, talking about the running-away of a half-caste child from a government "school." At one point in the movie, they show the head of the government agency for reducing the number of bi-racial children giving a lecture to a group of people, and talking about how they would be able to breed the aboriginal out of the children in only a few generations.

(BTW: the movie is based on real life events; and the government program was a real program.)

I got the whole article instantly, and it didn't ask me to pay. Maybe it's my browser? I don't know.

This I do know, I am not at all surprised. Life is devalued in this world we live in. From Hollywood, the government, games, Universities, and this is exactly what governments want persons to think in order to be in line with political correctness.

I can't prove this, and don't care to, but the look in kids eyes today, and adults, the chip on their shoulder shows total disrespect, hatred, entitlement, selfishness, and a demonic apathy toward the lives of others. Not across the board, but just way too often.

    Thoroughly disgusting.

But it was only a matter of time before abortion advocates took it to the next level.

American liberals will be on board soon.

Makes me wonder how many Christians who wink at candidates who advocate abortion will still wink at candidates that get on board for "after birth abortions". AKA murder.

Mitt Romney is on record as supporting Roe vs. Wade.

Gingrich petitioned G.H.W. Bush to support embryonic stem cell research.

Santorum has called himself a "pro-choice republican".

No - I meant the article that the ethicists wrote - not the Life News article. The link is in the Life News article.

It has already started with the seniors in some - not all - hospice care circles with their encouragement of witholding food and water in order to allow a "dignified death". And there are Christians in growing numbers going along with this. Last time I checked dying of starvation isn't very dignified.

When my mom was diagnosed with cancer, we spoke of what "heroic measures" she did and didn't want. "No feeding tubes, no IVs - NOTHING" she told me. I asked her if she liked starving. She looked at me funny. I asked her if she liked dying of thirst. "NO!!" she said. When I explained to her what she had just told me, we then were able to talk things through reasonably. In the end, she had no feeding tube but was kept hydrated through the last 5 days of her life. I made sure she had no pain and wasn't in need of anything. I agree with you - starving to death or dehydration is not dignified.

It's already here in Washington State. It's called "Death With Dignity" for the terminally ill (actually we are all terminal).

There is one other state where euthanasia is legal, Oregon.

At least in Oregon they call it what it is "Assisted Suicide".

I watched a propaganda documentary to prepare folks for what they had voted for (I didn't of course) where a man actually offed himself (yes he actually did) with the help of a doctor. The doctor prepared the concoction but the man had to take it and drink it himself (Hypocratic oath you know, a doctor swears not to administer any poison).

    It was very depressing.
