Of course this only means that the actual cost will end up being much higher than even the $1.76 trillion.

Probably in excess of 3 times the projection.

    Obama is a serial liar.

I Have a Great Way to Save Us Billions, Trillions...

...get rid to the office of POTUS, and cut our legislators to half-time. Also cut the suprememe court down to half it's size. When that's accomplished, pass a law that stops anyone from "double and triple dipping while on SSI.

We need our trops abroad to keep the threat out of our backyard, BW. sorry, but your plan would make us ripe for a major military disaster.

Finally, we need to put up huge welcome gates (all along the border) for the illegals to come to, so they can register and be here legally. This means they can gain citizenship when we pass the amnesty bill every few years!!! This will also reduce the need to police the border, and no one (illegals) will have to sneak around because they are registered, in possession of an ID card, and a drivers license from the get go. They can also sign up for all their American entitlements, and Obamacare. Think how much money this one friendly, helpfeul action will save America. Trillions.

I thought conservatives were in favor of the Constitution. I'm surprised you want to trash it.

One trillion is chump change compared to over 3 trillion we have spend on Mr. Bush's misadventures overseas in less than ten years.

Comparing one trillion to 3 trillion lacks any definition of chump change. But of course doing so in any way is off topic and not related to the op and more of an excuse the for lies told about all of this.

I would much rather we spend 1 trillion on helping our own people's health than in killing people around the world.

You might want to try not misrepresenting this issue. Your integrity and credibility are on the line. And you are still off topic.

Clinton killed more Iraqis than Bush did. If you really felt the waY you claim, you would vote to end the wars. But you will not do that. You will give your hero a pass, based on nothing but his race, and allow him to keep killing people overseas, while blamimg Bush.

    Hypocrite, thy name is C.T.Boy.

Back to the O/P, we see how much the left really wants to help the poor.

So you agree, it is better to spend on healthcare for our people than to kill people in foreign lands?

Wrong question. You just want to blame Bush, so any attempt at a rational discussion with you would be futile.

You fix health care by reducing cost. Not by increasing it.

Good idea. How would you reduce the cost of health care?

    TORT reform.
Eliminating bans on inter-state insurance purchases.
    De-regulation.
There are lots of ways to reduce health care costs. And there have been plenty of threads that have pointed this out. But that is not what you want. You just want other people to pay for it.

But at least you haven't argued that Obama has fixed health care.

Aren't you one who wants no government intrusion into business and the lives of the people. So you are saying you want more laws and more government regulations.

I said "de-regulation". Why would you change my words ? Are you trying to goad me into calling you a "liar" ?
