If he wins, I'll just take it as a sign that we're even closer to the rapture.

I'm not sure America is a relevant player in the end times (merely my opinion) and if he wins, he'll have 4 years to do what he wants with no worries of re-election. He'll plunge us into a huge hole.

 

Say what you want about Bush II, Clinton, Bush I....I don't think they had some weird desire to see people suffer.

At worst, Clinton wanted to have a good time in his second term. Bush II had a second term I wouldn't wish on anyone, and if Bush I had a second term, I think he would've at least tried.

I know it sounds stupid, but you've heard the phrase "some people just want to watch the world burn" and I feel that's Obama.

 

Agree with you Bobby. Either we're close to the Rapture, or we're headed for something similar to the oft repeated downfalls of the Hebrews, when God got tired of their ways.

I'm not a betting person, but if I were, I'd bet Obama's gloves come off in round two. He'll probably do away with the teleprompter that helps him walk the thin line between what he has to say and what he wants to say. Joe the Plumber taught him that lesson. Once round two begins, he doesn't have to worry about that. He's already effectively done an end run around Congress. If he has the opportuntity to stack the Supreme Court in his favor, what's left to limit what he does, especially in the latter days of round two?

Perhaps, the Rapture?

 

Sola can Obama be impeached for that BIG lie? Didn't Nixon get caught not telling the truth and for misleading the country?

 

IMO, we are just now coming out of the eye of the storm into the whirlwind of destruction.

The Rapture came and went. Jesus did not find enough faith on earth to make a noticeable difference.

We're already paying for them so why is this some type of sudden news?

There are federal guidelines that say abortion must be for medical reasons or because of rape or incest, but states are free to expand abortion services as they wish to cover abortion for other reasons.

So we're already funding abortion. If you're paying taxes, you fund it at the federal level and if you live in a state that expands beyond the Hyde guidelines, you're paying for them for reasons other than those.

How come nobody knows this? I've said it for years on this board when people complain, yet every election year, people go nuts, flipping out over a candidate saying stuff like this when you're already been paying for it for years and years.

That's part of what your taxes do. Yet when I post about not paying taxes, people have heart attacks and talk about how we should obey the government and the laws.

Make up your minds, people! Are you okay with paying for abortions or not? If you don't consider it a necessary evil forced on us by an evil society, then why do you continue to pay taxes when you know part of what they use them for is abortion?

 

Correct.

Even at that, we all pay taxes even those of the population who commit Income Tax Evasion.

Almost every non-private dollar we spend has some kind of state or federal tax siphon attached to it.

Gasoline/Diesel? Drive a car?
State sales tax? Buy stuff?
Property tax? Own a home?
Utilities? Have lights?

We can at very least make an effort to let our objections be known (especially to God (even though He already knows)).
