It has been national policy since WW2 that the US public must always be afraid of something, anything, doesn't matter. We have combined the worst features of "1984" and "Brave New World." "All animals are equal but some are more equal than others."

He has always been a president who uses fear and divisiveness to get what he wants.

But then again all Presidents and all candidates from Senate, Congress, any other political field do that. Not the first nor the last.

That is true, except this President ran on a theme in 2008 of change and hope, two positive attributes. Now it is pure fear. This is one of many reasons I would never vote for Obama, about as many as why I would never vote for Romney.

He has taken it to another level. It's all he's got.

Both sides of the aisle are promoting a fear campaign.

It's become very difficult to discern who has the most effective propaganda.

That is because there is no difference in essence between the two. From abortion, to gay rights, to government run health care, to belonging to a cult, we have two people battling for the leadeship of our country with the same moral fiber: none.

Yes, I'm afraid you are correct.
In the long run, no matter who wins, the end will be the same.

Brave New World and 1984 combined.
