Personally I don't believe they will. I don't think there is a single person on the court who is a constitutionalist. Also we have went too far into becoming a dictatorship by the Federal government setting up in the future a military rule for them to turn us back now.

I think it will stand. The 4 liberal judges will all vote to uphold it, and I don't see Kennedy holding a hard line here.

So what you are saying is that it will be a unanimous decision to uphold the law?

Read the OP and don't read anything into it or take anything away from it.

Thats exactly what I did!

Since you don't believe there is a single constitutionalist on the court - then you must believe that it will be a unanimous decision to uphold the law?

So where am I adding anything to the OP?

Read the OP, not like you read the bible, and don't add to it or take anything away from it.

The court is un-predictable at best. However several of the justices do hold much of the constitution as law, which it is the law of the land. Will they all vote to uphold it no will it be a close vote probably.

This will be what they must center in on does Congress have the Paower and authority: "To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes" and is insurance considered commerce if so does the federal Government have the power to regulate this in all states. That will be a tough one for them to decide is insurance considered commerce?

If they do allow it, IMO the basis of the decision will be to use the Social Security Act of 1935 as the model of precedence.

There is not a great deal of difference in the underlying philosophy.

Force the citizen to pay for something (i.e. SSA-FICA) to overcome a "social injustice".
The goverment will control and administer it.
Create thousands of regulations and a huge bureaucracy related to it.

etc, etc...

Good clear thinking. To often we get our emotions to think for us, which is bad.

I don't agree with you that there is any constitutionalists on the bench. There is not a single justice that holds to constitutional law in its original meanings. I agree that some may claim to and they may hold to what the constitution has become, but not to the original intent and meaning of the constitution. If they did they would not make many of the rulings they do.
Ron Paul would be a constitutionalist and there is not a single Justice that is even closed to him and his stance so there is no constitutionalists on the bench.

I don't believe that God is going to intervene in this. This nation is in this mess because of the church falling away from the foundations of the word of God.
We have played too many games with His word doing things like we want instead of how He has given them. We have presumed on Him and His ways and now we will experience the fruits of our ways. He gave us freedom as long as we used it wisely but now because of our backslidden hearts I believe He will remove it. We are about to reap what we have sowed.

Just think, if the Court fails to overturn ObamaCare, then the angel Macaroni will come to Mitt's rescue and win the election for him. Then Mitt and the Congress can repeal ObamaCare and replace it with RomneyCare.

No, I do not think God is interested in any of those subjects. I do think he is interested in judging a nation that He has blessed more than any in history, while we not only sin, but make sin the official law of the land, effectively rubbing the Lord's nose in it. The Lord put the big thumb on lots of nations in the OT, including Israel, for a lot less.

Not going to happen. I believe Presidernt Obama will be re-elected. Like I said I believe we, the church, have went too far.
