Even worse, in violation of federal law, democrats haven't even brought one to the floor for a vote.

If we did our jobs the way Congress does their job, we would be fired within a week. I do not recall where the exact web site is, but the number of days those overpaid slobs get off a year is outrageous. The days they do work is sometimes half days, and much of that time is taken up by mindless speeches and meetings that have nothing to do with running the nation or solving problems.

Even the time they do spend working, most of it is playing political games in order to gain power next election cycle. Their benefits are enhanced way beyond what the average federal worker gets, as is their pay, vacation, and sick leave. The money tax payers spend for their staff support is astronomical. That does not even begin to count the cost of travel here and there.

There needs to be a law enacted that says no pay, beneftis or other compensation until a budget is in place, and all the nations business is taken care of. There is no excuse for continuing resolutions. It is an easy fix for laziness.

In early American history, sometimes legislators went without pay, and actually spent time working. Some state legislatures are a part time job, because they meet, work, finish their tasks and go home.

Talk about everyone on government assistance you want, this is the worst example on earth, the United States Congress.

Just do a little research on the Internet and see how often Republicans, especially House Republicans, have blocked the budget process and budget proposals. Boehner is simply playing election year politics.

As usual, You have no idea what you're talking about. Try a source besides the DNC or demicratic underground.

Republicans are incapable of stopping a budget bill from coming to the floor in the senate. and have passed budgets in the house under Boehner. The Senate won't vote on them. Thanks to the dumbest and dirtiest Senator on record, Dirty Harry Reid.

Try and get something right once a month or so.

And the same law should dictate that if Congress runs a deficit of the budget (which should be illegal anyway), the difference comes out of their salaries.

Just do a bit of research, general research. Eliminate both Democratic and Republican web sites and see how much is out there about the obstructive policy the GOP follows and has followed since they adopted that strategy shortly after Obama was elected.

You are wrong, CTB. The House passed a budget. The Senate is supposed to pass a budget. Then the 2 come together to reconcile a final budget. The Senate hasn't passed a budget and they control the Senate. Republicans cannot block a budget in the Senate. If I remember correctly, the House did not pass a budget either, under Nancy Pelosi as Speaker.

You are like the typical democrat politician, always wrong, never right.

Please enlighten all as to how the House Republicans kept the democrat Senate from passing a budget. It is pathetic to make such a statement, particularly since the democrats controlled the House for the first 2 years of king Obama's reign.:BangHead: Since the Republicans took control of the House last year they have produced two budgets!:applause:

The democrat Senate is in violation of the law but what is new. They have not passed a budget in more than 1000 days and that is a fact. Harry Reid, Charles Schumer, and turbin Durbin, the Senate democrat leadership, are poor excuses for citizens.

Now some dispensationalist can take me to task for criticizing a Jew!:tonofbricks:

He's been told and still can't get it right.

Just disengaging the brain and spouting the party line. Makes one look kind of silly, but that's better than recognizing the truth, I guess. To a democrat.

What you want to eliminate is facts. Facts that show the Dems have not passed a budget in a long time. And they have not even brought one to the floor. Obama passed down a couple of budgets but the Dems shot them down. Fact is they do not want a budget. They do not want to be limited in their spending. Facts are facts no matter what the DNC talking points are.
