Obama should not have criticized Romney but it won't hurt him in the election.

Obama bringing up Romney tarnished what should have been an acknowledgement of one of only a few bright spots for the administration. I didn't think it was inappropriate to 'celebrate' the one year anniversary of bin Laden's death.

Obama shouldn't have criticized Rpmney for this. Not that I'm a Romney fan by any means, but it doesn't do Obama any good to be Romney's mindreader either.

What really irks me is when the Democrats used Bill Clinton in ads suggesting that Obama did what no Reublican was able to do. If my memory serves me correctly, it was Clinton himself who failed to capture Bin Laden back in the 1990's when he had the opportunity to do so. Seems to me that had Clinton done what he should have, there may not even have been a 9/11 attack on the United States in the first place.

Three individuals in this equation, Bin Laden, Obama, and Romney. In mathematical terms, one could say zero plus zero equals zero.

I would say the three would make a good set of triplets.

It comes across being desperate. Obama could have used the raid and killing of the Al-Qaeda leader to his advantage. The SEAL raid was a popular action. The President's decision was well made. It could have been a top star on a short list of accomplishments made during his administration.

But now many are taking sides against the President, with even some that normally would support Obama, backing away from him.

Obama has made many poor decision during his time in office. While smaller in size, this one seems to be another questionable call.

I was reading earlier that now SEALs are openly disappointed with the President using them politically.

& some supporters are backing away from the statement about Mitt Romney.

You've just equated two U.S. citizens with a history of service to our country with the most reviled terrorist in history. Have you no shame?

I doubt you know one thing about service to this country.

Ah yes, the insulting Saturneptune is back.

Out of those three individuals I'm pretty certain I can spot the one that has never held elective office in the U.S.A.

Obama didn't really do a lot when you think about it... Sure, he made a difficult choice, but other than that, all he did at most watch behind a screen and possible, though not likely, hand-picked the team for the job.

It was the Navy Seal Team who did the heavy work...something that Obama has no right to take credit for in such a dishonorable way. But will it hurt his election? No real way of telling, sense there's roughly a 75% chance there won't be an election, to be honest.

The thing I wonder most about is how did Obama convince (almost) everyone that he actually had anything to do with Bin Laden's death without providing one single shred of evidence other than his word?

The man is a proven liar. How is it that people just take him at his word without proof knowing he is a liar?

And when did (almost) everyone start believing what the "liberal" media says when it concerns one of their own?

Can two opposing views really live in the same mind that comfortably?

I cannot prove it, but I think there is a good chance you and Targus have the same IP address. You talk about how shameful it is to compare Obama and Romney, American citizens, to Bin Laden.

You and many other people on this board for the past four years have been flapping those jaws about Obama being born overseas and not being elgible to serve as President. If that be true, then he cannot be a citizen. So which is it, is he a citizen or not. Another inconsistency on your part. As far as listing the merits of Romney that makes him a first class American, I will leave that to you.

Suits me fine. If we want to see how low we can go with Presidential candidates, lets do it right.

There are five choices for this voting election
    A. Obama
    B. Probably Romney, but could be surprised
    C. Third party candidate
    D, Leaving the united states
    E, Succeeding from the union.

    Take your pick.

But anyways, Unless we have a election that is forced by all sides to be fair and not corrupt, I don't see this affecting Obama's reelection chances at all. And something will probably come up to make people forget about the incident.

Obama takes an awful lot of credit for doing what was suggested by high ranking military offers.

Matter of fact, shouldn't Bush be receiving just as much credit for bin laden's death? Romney should mention these facts.

Bush deserves credit, but notice he did not ask for any, and would not have if he had been President. Obama and Romney have many things to argue about. I think using this forum for political purposes is shameful, whichever side does it.

Show me. Show me where I've said that Obama is not a U.S. Citizen. You have a nasty habit of asserting falsehoods about people. I'm callling you out Saturneptune. I can wait while you search the archives.

And the intelligence apparatus that was used to find Bin Laden was set up by President Bush.

There is not much doubt that , if Obama had been responsible for setting it up, it would not have been done.

How many times, as a senator , did he try to stop the collecting of intelligence? Would "quite a few" not be enough?
