THE PURPOSE OF LIFE!
1. Life is a moment of time in which to prepare for the eternity ahead of us.
2. In this brief, fleeting second of time we are asked to answer one question: “Where do you wish to spend eternity? There for two great eternities... we must choose one or the other, for there is no neutral ground.
3. Think of the terrible anguish of living forever with Satan in a burning Hell... oh, the purpose of life, first of all, is to let you personally choose the abiding place of your soul.
4. Paul said, in Phil. 1:21... “For me to live is CHRIST! Do you have Christ as Savior? He desires that you might receive Him. (John 1:12; Rom. 6:23;
Acts 16:31; John 1:29; Rom. 12:9-13)Christ is life!
5. We ought to consider -- What is my life? Why am I alive?

a. Source of life -- Christ alone -- Phil. 1:21; John 17:3b. Motive of life -- Phil. 2:21
c. Object of life -- II Cor. 5:14,15
d. Dynamic of Life -- II Cor. 13:4
e. Manner of life -- Titus 2:11-14

God created mankind to solve the Angelic conflict. The conflict between Himself, satan and the fallen angels.

Angels were created first, they were created in perfection as man was, the Angels also had a volition, just as man does. Angels were created without the ability to be regenerated and can not be redeemed as man can.

Isaiah 14: 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

We see satan was sentenced as well as the 1/3 of angels. He will be brought down to hell, so why hasn't he already been sent there? His sentence has been passed. God sentenced Him to the Lake of fire. So if sentence is passed what is the reason his sentence hasn't been carried out?

We see God's condemnation of Satan in.
Ezekial 28: 12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

Verse 13, Who was in Eden Adam, Eve and Satan as a serpent who deceived Eve.

Verses 14 and 16 Who was the covering cherub? Satan of course

Verse 15 This os definitely talking about satan "he was perfect until iniquity was found in him. What iniquity was found in him pride.

Again back to the Isaiah passage it says he will be brought down to hell. He isn't there yet but his sentence has been pronounced.

Then in Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

If it has been prepared why has the sentence not been carried out, why are they not already there, God must have a reason for this.

So here is what is taught about this satan as an advocate (lawyer) has appealed his sentence. Challenging God as unfair, like some folks say today, How can a just and loving God cast his cretures into the Lake Of Fire? Thus satan impunged the grace and righteousness of God. God could have immediately cast the offending angels into eternal punishment. but as we see from the Isaiah and Matthew passages He didn't. Why? God granted Satan and His angels an appealto denomstrate His grace and righteousness to the angels for all eternity. So God created man, gave him volition placed in man away to make a choice and the ability to be redeemed. Man as the agent for solving Satans appeal is given volition and given the rigth to choose for God's plan or against.

1st Corinthians 6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?

2Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

3Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Notice verse 3 the believers will judge angels? Which angels the fallen angels and satan. When at the end of the Millinial reign when satan raises an army to fight against Christ at the end of the millinial.

Revelation 20:10And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Notice no sentence is passed satan isn't tried again nor does he even reach the great white throne but is cast immediately into the lake of fire. Why sentence is already passed appeal failed God is proven just and fair a God grace and satan doomed.

11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Then the unbelievers are judged and sentenced to the same fate. The believers have judge satan and his angels as sinners and sentence fair.

If you notice Peter says 2 Peter 3:
7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God evidently gave Satan a week of 1000 years periods to prove his case on appeal. He has been fighting the battle starting in Eden, and on through history.

John 15

King James Version (KJV)

15 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
