    Recently I overheard an acquaintance remark that he wouldn't support any ministry whose website was a person's name since that was a clear indication of an egoistic, man-centered ministry.

    What are your thoughts on such a statement?

    It's a foolish overstatement. I know plenty of guys who use their name as a URL or redirect to their main site. It is practical and helps with traffic for those you're trying to help.

    Depends if it's only the website. If the church is named after the preacher, that's another story.

    So in his mind there is only one option here? There is no other possibility of other motivations to do this? It appears this person is willing to judge based on a suspicion rather than a sound conclusion.
