How Many Lies Make You A Liar?
How many lies can you tell before you are a liar?
If a christian of whom you approve of tells a lie. And a atheist tells a lie.

What is the difference between them?

Are they both liars to God?

Does God let people who tells lies into His Kingdom?

Kit any lie would make the person a liar so we all in that sense fall into a category of all being liars. The same would be that if you ever murder someone you do not somehow erase that fact. However when the scripture speaks of all liars having their place in the lake of fire the Greek uses a construction that does not translate into the English very well. Greek passages like that are saying that all people who practice the sin of lying as their way of life will have their place in the lake of fire. No Christian does that.
When a Christian lies, and most likely we all have at some point in in Christian life, that sin is already paid for as there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. This is what is being spoken about when it says we are not under the law. The law condemns and grace and truth sets us free from the law.
That does not mean we are not to set our hearts and minds on the commands and precepts of God to obey because we will if we are really saved, just that if we fail in any area the law cannot do us any harm or judge us because we are not under its judgment.
So the answer to your question is yes and no. Everyone is a liar since every person has lied, but if we are washed, saved, then our past, present, and future is paid for and we are no longer considered as sinners because the sins we commit after salvation are not a practice and have no effect on our standing with God because we are not under the law. Christians are what Paul says in 1 Cor 6 "And such were some of you" that from time to time do fail and sin, but it is not the practice of their daily life.

Praise God for that! Kit that is good, but we all have lied at some point even if only before we were saved.

When you are born again then you are born again.

Have you lied after you became born again?

'If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us' (1 John 1:10). One of you is a liar. Is it you or God?

    Regretfully yes it has happened.
Kit, Let me ask you this. In your profile you say you are a member of a first Baptist and you give Tronto as you home. Are you really a member of the first Baptist in tronto or have you lied about the church and the town since there is no such place as tronto?

I think it is funny that after having seen the great Wisdom that God has bestowed upon me. They never think that I would know before God sends me anywhere that they are going to look at anything I put or signed up to see if they can find a lie on me.

    All is true.

I googled it and no place with that name came up. If there is then you prove it to be true. Where is this place? I would ask you how do you know God has sent you?

If you believe I lied. You can do like I am going to do to you. Take it before the Lord.

Thank you for your concern and I do understand his need. However I am comfortable talking with this person just like the Lord was comfortable speaking with those of His days on earth.
