    Consider the following pasage:

    1. It seems here that Paul is saying that if you are a single man, and you have physical desire for a woman, you should get married, so that you do not lose control and commit some sin, for it is better to marry than to sin...SO, Getting married precisely BECAUSE you desire physical intimacy is a GOOD, BIBLICAL reason to get married! (though, it should not be the ONLY reason).

    2. Paul says that married couples should not practice extended abstinence, SO that satan may not tempt you!

    3. It seems that there is biblical warrant, for taking steps that LESSEN OUR SUCCEPTABILITY TO TEMPTATION TO SIN! If I have temptations by women, I should get married, and once married, stay close to my wife; because doing so will LOWER THE PHYSICAL DESIRES THAT GIVE RISE TO SPIRITUAL TEMPTATIONS.

    4. SO>>>If a man finds that he has some physical issue with his thryroid, or brain, that makes it difficult for him to relate to people as he know he should, would it not make sense to possibly take a drug that helps him decrease his temptation to fly of the handle in anger, or to shut down and neglect his duties?

    5. Disclaimer: In neither of these cases is the person making excuses for sin. An unmarried man who desires to be married cannot claim innocence if he starts sleeping around. A man who has been taking some drug that helps him think more clearly is must still fight his sin when he misses a dose, or even if the doctor tells him he doesn't need the drug, which might be the right decision. The point is both are taking practical, physical steps to aid them in fighting temptations to sin.

Just more excuses to justify using drugs and covering sin. You are adding to scripture to support a worldly belief. Getting married will not fix lust. That is not what Paul is suggesting. Paul is dealing with people who thought that sex pure so to remain pure do not get married, but if they remained single they would still lust so go ahead and get married. The issue is the heart not the bed. Many people marry and still lust and people take drugs and still continue to sin. The answer is always confession and forsaking, not drugs.

Exactly, drugs don't fix sin. Marraige doesn't fix lust. But it can help lessen the temptation. I didn't say marraige will fix lust. Paul says if you lust, you should get married so that desire has somewhere to go.

Paul is saying it is wise to take steps to lower the amount of temptation that you face.

He is actually saying more then that but like I said the problem is within and no drug can fix that. Confession and forsaking is the only answer.
