Better news would be for him to be booted out of office with the highest percentage of the populace votes in history as well as have every one of the people in congress up for re-election booted out both republican and democrat..

He's put himself in a box again. I agree with Bill Clinton...he's an amateur.

You have lost me with that statement. Why do you believe that when all he had to do was not run for second term?

Higher taxes usually do not result in more votes, especially in a bad economy.

True he could have bowed out of a run for another four years, but that could be seen as his recogition of a failed term. His ego seems too big for that.

Let the rich pay more. Why not give the middle class a tax break and let the rich pay for it?

Why should the rich have to pay a higher percent? If we base the system on the bible God never charged the rich more. A tenth was a tenth. Being rich or poor did not change the base amount. The same should be with our system. Do away with all deductions and exemptions and everyone pay a flat percent and that would be fair.
The truth is not that the rich are not paying enough, but the middle class are not paying their fair share because of deductions and exemptions. Many of the middle class pay nothing at all.

He decided long ago to stick with his strategy of pitting the rich against the poor. That's all he's got. He can't run on his record.

So shouldn't Warren Buffet and others like him pay as much as their secretaries? Remember Warren said he pays less than his secretary and he also said that should be corrected by Congress.

I always have to smile when I hear him say that and just out right break down in tears from laughing at those who believe him and subscribe to his outlandish chirpings.
Warren Buffet was working and made billions off the system we now have you never heard a word from him about paying more taxes. Now that he has billions and is making his money off the money he has already made he wants congress to make those millionaires who are still working to pay a higher percent on their earnings. That is rich!

The problem we are in is not because of millionaires and will not be corrected by burdening them with higher tax rates then the rest. What you are suggesting is the same socialistic ideals that the Occupy wall street people are pushing. Take from the rich and give to the poor.

What needs to be done is do away with all the tax loopholes, tax breaks, and tax deductions, and have everyone pay the same tax rate which would be the fair way. If God saw it was the right way under the law then it is the right way.

The truth is if Warren Buffet was really concerend about how much his secretary was paying he would pay her taxes for her. We need up and see what these clowns are trying to do.
