I put in for financial aide so lets hope I get a good investment so I do not (nor will I) take on any loans. The following site (http://www.careeronestop.org/ExploreCareers/ExploreCareers.aspx) is great to discover the job markets and whats hot and whats not of each state and demographical area. In the event that financial aide does not cover everything how else can I get training or a path to a better paying career without going to school? Does anyone know of a way? I seek to pay back my college loans, and in order to do so (as Dave Ramsey would say) I need a larger shovel.

There are no community colleges in my area, and I have not been gifted with a opportunity to make a good salary without going to school (unlike some authors whom write career books) so I am not sure what to do.

I don't know where you live, your interests or your abilities. That being said, I would stay away from technical schools and the like and focus on a true college education. If you already have some college, you may be able to transfer certain credits so at least you are not starting from scratch. Top needs right now -- Healthcare (RNs, OT, PT), Engineering, Systems (Analyst, IT, Software, etc.) and Accounting. However, as we all know, it is a very tough job market out there. Good luck.
