    An abortion is always unsafe. Normally one person dies with each abortion.

    Since Salty has raised the question of the origin of the soul. I have concluded that God creates a new soul at the time of birth.

    So are you saying it's okay to abort a child 1 minute before birth?

    How about just after the child is born - but before cutting the umbilical cord?

    Its interesting, a few weeks ago, a young man was arrested for destroying some swan eggs. Some wrote letters to the editor saying its the same as aborting. Others said it was apples and oranges - the "others" were correct - the swans would not have been people - only animals.
