I don't think "I'm Mitt Romney and on Day One I'll gut Obamacare" is the way to win the election.

I think the focus needs to be economy and paying down the debt. In three years we've taken on, what?, $5 Trillion in new debt!

I think Obamacare is a red herring.

Oh, and BTW, I looked at my receipt from breakfast this morning and noticed that I paid a 7% penalty on top of the price of the food. Or was it a 7% tax? I don't know anymore.

I'd avoid the "contract with America" thing.

The media and the left would harken back to that heartless Gingrich and how he wanted to let Medicare die on the vine or whatever.

There would be all kinds of accusations like the Republicans wanting to shut down the government.

    Blah, blah, blah...

Let's stick to the present and Obama's horrible record.

With the Supreme Court ruling it will not require 60 Senate votes to repeal Obamacare, only 51. So Republicans need to take over the Senate, the presidency, and maintain control of the House.

The major issue is still the economy but Obamacare can be a thorn in Obama's side, and he is not Paul, Moham possibly!

It is my opinion that the Court ruling may spike an increase in unemployment.

It is impossible now to repeal Obama care and it will be impossible after the election no matter who is elected. There is no way that the Senate will vote to repeal the law.
The claims they are making are a smoking gun for election purposes, nothing else. Our elected officials already have a contract with us and are not following it so there is no need for another. Keep in mind that we are in this mess because of both parties not one.

How about just sticking to the (original intent of the) Constitution itself and calling out Obama on everything in which he violated it.

You know, instead of empty, emotional rhetoric and sound bite politics, it would be nice if we had a Republican candidate who was thoroughly schooled on the Constitution (Jefferson style) and presented his entire debate points on Constitutional grounds. Attacking and replying against every charge with a Constitutional examination would make Obama look like an utter fool.

Alas, the vast majority of Republicans, like the Democrats, do not care a whit about the very law that they have to swear upon the Word of God before God and country to defend.
Alas, the vast majority of Christians do not care a whit about the Constitution either. They will only cherry-pick favorite parts that fit with their theonomy, and advocate endless lying and perjury to accomplish what they think is right.

    Sad.

Its a penalty for not eating at home. Seeing you are in the top 75% you don't care about those who cannot eat at a restaurant.

Getting rid of Obamacare, above any other single action, would go a long way toward accomplishing your goal.

The debt cannot be paid without first stopping the spending.

You Are Right On about TAX....

...I can't believe how many taxes we pay, on top of taxes. For instance, my wife holds a Patent and when she makes the units to sell, she pays tax on the material. We then have to charge a tax to the customer, and then pay taxes and business license taxes to the city, county and state to run her little business.

This makes the cost to produce the product a whole lot more than it should be, but that's the direction our government is heading, and with Obamacare, I see more taxes coming down the pike.
