The government. A union can do no more then permitted by the government.

I had a friend, that his son couldn't get a job driving trucks cross country due to his driving record, to many tickets, but he got a job as a police man. We have a few state and locals police man who have hit cars from the rear and were found at fault but kept their job, as a truck driver, you would lose your job with most trucking firms that I know of.
If the department has lower standards they will have these kind of problems.
Who would hire a person with the kind of record as the officer listed in this story? They get hired everyday somewhere.

Yes Bob and we need to wake up putting our political leaders feet to the fire to stop these kind of things that are going on in our corrupt governments.

Salty can turn anything into a union rant

I read the story twice and didn't see the word, "union."

My union doesn't support officers accused of felonies.

Wow. That's pretty much all I can say about that. Obviously, something is wrong here.

FAL, I believe Salty is amazed at your statement
because many unions and their leadership are among the most corrupt organizations on planet earth with their stooges at the highest levels of our government operating with total disregard of the rule of law.

Here is one example among many:

In other words, Democrats are as corrupt as Republicans but Republicans are better at being corrupt.

Sounds good. So, let's start over with the Tea Party.

If that is what he is saying than that proves the government is the most corrupt as the unions have to rely on the government to just setback and collect on their evil. Who is considered the most vile? The pimp or the prostitute? If the government is pimping the unions then the government is the most vile.

A person may run for congress with good intentions but six months on the job and human greed takes over. Where else can a semi-skilled person make that kind of money (legally)?

Thats the best joke I have heard all day.

Some 90 % of all reps are re-elected. So how do you figure term limits?
