    I will guess B. The reason I say that is that if he served, at least he has a basis for what he is saying.

    Ug! I didn't do the answers the way I intended. There should have been two choices which are similar. I have three known anti-war advocates vs one odd man. Dead give away.

    But anyone familiar with this man's once-famous book would immediately recognize it.

    I served too, but I object to the idea that only military members or vets have a right to an opinion about war and such things.

    I agree. But I find the penchant of feeling sorry for, or excusing military members as having "no other choice" highly ofensive.

    After countless banana wars in the name of true American imperialism, Gen Butler had a right to be skeptical.

    It does sound a lot like poncho, though.:laugh:
