Minor League Baseball Team to Have Atheist Night

    For one day next month, the St. Paul Saints minor league baseball team will become the Aints.

    The Saints, known for off-the-wall promotions in the team's 20-year history, will have a theme night on Aug. 10 titled "A Night of Unbelievable Fun," sponsored by the Minnesota Atheists. While the team's staff generates many of the Saints' promotions and giveaways, several ideas come from outside sponsors.

    Well, I hope only atheists show up for the game, because they will only do this once. The vast majority of people are not atheists, although few believe the gospel.

    If only atheists show up, they will lose money big time, the stands will be empty. Serves 'em right.

    If it was the St. Paul's First Baptist Church sponsoring an atheists night there might be a problem. :thumbs: Go to the game and witness. Better yet, make it your church visitation night event. Should be plenty of folks to share with.

    Padre, I love your ideal! An association of churches could sponsor Athiest night at the Ball game.

    When I worked at a Christian Radio Station, I sponsored Christian Baseball Night with the Syracuse Chiefs.
