    I'm curious, do you think this was a justified response to a perceived threat, or do you think that this was an unjustified exercise in military brutality?

    They were warned and they did not stop. I think that they used too small of a weapon if anyone survived.

    So you think they did not go far enough and should have obliterated everyone on board rather than merely stop them?

    On what basis does the U.S. navy have the right to stop any boat that they choose when in international waters?

    They have the right to take what ever action they deem necessary to protect the ship.
