Obama will stop at nothing to go through every clip Romney has ever been filmed in to make a nasty campaign ad and divert attention from his pathetic record. Romney does not need to help him out.

In a recent ad about shipping jobs overseas, he uses a clip of Romney singing patriotic songs, and it sounds terrible. Romney needs to focus on the issues, and stop with the antics, because Obama will use every one of them. It is either that or take singing lessons.

I admire him singing the song, but it does more harm than good, and he has enough problems being elected.

Nope, don't think so....the pundits may have made a big deal about it, but to me I'd much rather hear him sing America The Beautiful in an honest, warm, patriotic way than hear Obama sing Al Green's Let Stay Together in perfect pitch.

It'll get a couple of laughs, make it through the news cycle and then it'll be off to another subject tomorrow.

You have to give me credit, at the start of the primary season, I could not stand the man. After talking with Lady Eagle and the experience with the Constitution Pary, I have rethought my objections to him and decided to vote for him, just not with any enthuisam.

Webdog was a big influence in seperating his religious beliefs and his ideas for America in my mind. My objection to him now is his record as Governor of MA. I guess you call it a gut feeling, faith, or giving him the benefit of the doubt, that he is now pro life and against gay right. The thing is, even if I am wrong, there is no chance Obama is going to change, so a gamble is no loss.

Thanks for your response. My purpose in this thread was to make the point not to give Obama any ammunition for political ads, because he will not talking about the issues or his record.

Thanks, SN. I learn things from you, too. :flower:

And, you're right. Romney should stick with the issues.

Speaking of Romney, I think he put out a "feeler" today in the Ohio crowd where he was speaking. Saw only a short clip, but he was standing up against BO and the anti-entrepreneur remarks BO made earlier and then he did a strange thing....he said, "I was talking with Marco Rubio the other day..." AND THE CROWD WENT WILD!!!! And a little smile, a very little smile, crept across his face......I definitely sensed he was putting a "feeler" out there, just so see.....I hope so, I really do. Rubio will super charge the ticket!!!
