    Let's see:
    1. The government passes a law determining that government infrastructure projects must be accomplished using U.S. labor.
    2. The government also enforces minimum wage laws, union protection laws, and other laws to price fix labor such as construction.
    3. The government breaks the law (1) by outsourcing infrastructure projects to foreigners because of (2).

It only seems right when you consider the fact they own the roads.

Incredible. Height of hypocrisy. And he'll be reelected. Incredible.

So we have the gall to talk about companies outsourcing jobs to other countries and then turn around and do the same?

Sounds like just another day at the office for the band of political hypocrites.

There is no capitalism at work here.

This is all the government doing this.

BTW - why am I starting to get the feeling that Crabby is anti-capitalism?

And is everyone aware that Crabby is a free lance indexer?

That means that he does indexing cheaper than employees of publishing companies - so he gets the work outsourced to him.

And puts publishing employees out of a job in the process.

Liberals never live up to what they preach.

Government coercion is not capitalism. It may be "crony capitalism," which is a form of fascism, but do not confuse the free market with government monopoly.

You people are two-faced. Right wing Republicans should be happy as a clam. You have not complained about any other jobs going off shore.

Can you say, "missed the point"?

The point is not about jobs going off shore; it's about the Obama administration and the democrats complaining about Romney sending jobs overseas, and then rurning around and doing the same thing themselves.

In some places, it's called "hypocrisy."

And, of course, the BIG difference is...

Romney and company did it voluntarily according to the way a free market should expect to work.
Obama did it with infrastructure under a government-enforced monopoly, breaking the government's laws.

What is it about the difference between mutual exchange vs. coercion that leftists here just cannot get through their thick skulls?

And Romney did it with his own money...

The government does it with ours.

    Funny.

Rick Perry was raked over the coals by both parties when the state awarded the contract for the Trans Texas Corridor to a foreign company.

    Justifiably so.

Obama will get off scott free. The media will be almost completely silent. And it should be the unions that take him to task, but they won't. They've been bought off.

Obama and unions are so in bed with each other, neither one can get out and act independently.

What do construction contracts made by California have to do with Obama?

Just a guess right off hand, but they probably got stimulus money or some kind of Federal Funds or subsidy.
