Romney to Obama: ‘Take your campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago’

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio—Mitt Romney offered his strongest criticism yet of President Barack Obama's campaign tactics, accusing his Democratic opponent of resorting to "diversions and distractions" and "defaming others" in order to win re-election this November.

Speaking on the steps of a courthouse here on the final stop of his four-state bus tour, Romney lashed out at Obama, describing him as "intellectually exhausted, out of ideas and out of energy." As a result, Romney said, Obama and his allies are running a campaign based on personal attacks rather than "fresh ideas."

I'm glad he said this. But the country is so divided at this point that I don't think it much matters anymore that folks point out the hypocrisy of the candidates.

Much like he did during the 2008 election cycle, they could find him in bed with a dead hooker and folks would blame it on Bush for leaving so much for him to fix that he needed an outlet from the stress so they don't blame him.

Obama had no fresh ideas to start with. He only recycled the old stale ideas of socialism!

Romney 's taking the gloves off.

That needs to become the mantra of the campaign. It defines Obama's term in office.

I think he needs to do what Inthelight said in another thread:
Every time he starts with this type of crap, shoot it down and go right back to the lack of jobs and the 6 trillion dollars of debt he's added.

    Why do you care?

You're disengaged, remember? Can't stand either one.

Any one that votes for either one is making an anti-Christian statement. Right?

So why do you care? And why should we care what you think about how Romney runs his campaign?

As my Mama used to say, "It is the pot calling the kettle black."

I thought it quite funny the other day when Romney, who has bragged about his business experience ask the Obama campaign to leave business experience out of the campaign conversation.

Can you give an example of the "division, anger and hate" that the Romney campaign has been putting out?

I'm guessing the answer is "no".
