Here is an outstanding video. I sadly see some of the same things that have occurred in the past, repeated on this very board. America is ALL of us.

I find it to not always be the best use of my time to follow links to unknown videos and articles.

Can you give an example of the content that you think is most important and why you believe so?

Hehe the "Klu Klux Klan' in the vid were most likely all Democrats. Thanks for the reminder of the Democrat Party.

    Hmmm.

My first thought...people who take the easy way out and send their kids to public schools have no business griping about what they are taught.

And home schooling, or raising revenue to send your child to a private school are not easy.

    And the K.K.K. was democrat.

And border security is not hate.

    Remember the Dixiecrats?

You have to remember at that time the South was solid in the Democratic Party. This was a hold over from the Civil War era and reconstruction era when the Republican party was viewed as the enemy ... Lincoln, slavery, Civil War, etc. A large majority of the KKK was Baptist and most of those were SBC. Baptist and the SBC comprised a majority of the folk living in the South. Even though Louisiana has a large Catholic population I doubt there were any members who were Catholic as they also were viewed as the enemy as were Jews.

If the KKK was still as popular as it was in the 20's and 30's most the members would be Republican simply because the South is largely leans toward the Republican party.

My reply is not to praise or condemn anyone ... it is simply for information.

    Blessings.

Uh let's stick with facts and stay away from this type of speculation. The KKK was largely Democrats. Period. That is the history. Trying to speculate further than that is just bizarre.

There is really no speculation. I lived in the South as the change from the Democratic party to the Republican party took place. I know what people said. I know why they changed. It is very safe to say that if the KKK was as popular now as it was back in the first half of the 20th century the majority would still be Baptist, but would be Republican. Membership simply mirrors the protestant and political population of a given area.

As I said, this is not a condemnation, just plain and simply true.

Guys, this is going off the rails. This is not a partisan video. It is a reminder that we all have a stake in fulfilling that "more perfect union".

Yes we do all have a stake in creating a "more perfect union." The video is quite correct in it emphasis on we are all responsible in bringing this into being and we must all respect each other. The rights we want for ourselves are the rights we must allow and protect for others as well.

It is a partisan video. It blames conservative Christians, and republicans for the division in the nation.

Yes, it is partisan in that it call on all American to live the ideals we like to brag about, but have not lived up to much of the time.

What group do you believe should be denied their rights under the Constitution?

It appears that Crabby does not know what the word "partisan" means.

This video is an attempt to justify all religions as being equally peaceful. Of course the truth is that the Muslim religion is not peaceful at all and is bent on our destruction.
