Christians Pledge to Vote for Jesus over Romney and Obama
Good for them. Much more Biblically sound than voting for the lesser of two evils.

You are aware that Jesus does not meet the Constitutional requirements for President of the U.S.

So a write in vote for Jesus is not very different than a write in vote for Mickey Mouse.

What it will accomplish though is to give some of the unsaved a reason to think that Christians are nutty...

And instead of soul winning will drive people away from Jesus.

But you do what you think is right.

Now I know you are aware that folks writing in Jesus has nothing to do with Constitutional eligibility.

    If you say so.

Ahh so they DO think about how a Christian votes. Lo and behold I thought all the folks on this board were convinced that lost people didn't care how Christians voted.

So what will voting for a an anti-Christ drive them towards?

I'll do what I know is right.

This makes no sense. Jesus is not running for president.

Now is this ends up giving Obama another term, we will all lose.

Yes, I think if someone were to find out a person voted for Jesus for President it would cause them to dismiss anything you would ever say to them about getting saved. Much more so than Zaac's contention that voting for Romney will destroy a Christian's ability to witness.

I'm sure that they are well aware of that. The point they are trying to make is that as a Christian, you're not going to win or lose based upon who is elected President of the United States.

If both candidates are evil, remember what the Christian PRIORITY is. Some folks seem to think it's to win an election at all costs.

    It isn't.

So today you're playing the role of the hypocritical troll as you seemed pretty confident before that no conversation would ever go down that way where an unsaved person would ask a Christian who he voted for.

So according to some of you, they are gonna be okay if they find out you voted for the false god-worshiper, but they are gonna have a problem if you wrote in Jesus as your vote.

Yep, that win an election at all costs mentality.

    IDOL WORSHIP.

320,000 people who will have no moral leg to stand on when they complain about the outcome of the election because they threw away their votes.

There you go again. I never said that unsaved people would not ask a Christian who they voted for. I did say I doubted a Christian's witness would be ruined if they answered they voted for Romney.

Yes, most unsaved people would think you were a nutburger if you said you voted for Jesus for President. My assumption is that they would think you were in some weird cult and wouldn't listen to a word you had to say about God.

Yep, there's false premise #5 or #6 (I forget) in Zaac's debating tactics.

    And there is #7!

Right, they will have no moral leg to stand on for writing in Jesus. But all those Christians who vote for the false-god worshiper will have moral ground.

Keller, who has claimed to be the world's leading Internet evangelist, says on his Voting for Jesus website that this year's choice of the two major parties' presidential candidates is like "satan flipping a two-headed coin with his head on both sides." (bold mine)

Sounds like self-promotion. The website's credibility is questionable, in my opinion.

    Trolling again.

    .

Right just like they will think you are a nutburger for trying to preach to them about Jesus after endorsing as the leader of the free world a man who thinks Jesus and satan are brothers.

Ahh I love it when the false premise troll rears his ugly head.
    There he is again!!!

I think you're a DNC operative trying to siphon off the Romney vote.

Are you at least getting paid?

The websites credibility has nothing to do with the statement you just mentioned.

    Are you?

There's a difference between political jesting and making comments like this. You're out of bounds.

I invite you to show me where I stated no unsaved person would ask a Christian whom they voted for.

Again with the false premise. Pay attention now. Voting for Romney is not endorsing Mormonism. That is your false premise. You put up arguments against false premises that you invent. It's quite annoying. The fact is, voting for Romney is endorsing his political views and legislative ideas, not his theology.

Anyway, the number of unsaved people that are aware of the theological positions of Mormonism is quite low.

You have no substantial response so you call me a troll. Nice.

I think that a whole lot of the unsaved will see stuff on Huffington and Aol and in newspapers and on the radio that tells all about the nutjob Christians that voted for Jesus...

And then will never want to hear about Jesus from any Christian - regardless of who that Christian voted for.

People writing in Jesus makes Christians look like kooks.

    It is bad witness.

Just as usual. Y'all can throw the punches but can't take them. If mine is out of bounds so is yours. So save the hypocrisy again. I know some of you think that you can make your little cheap shots and then cry out of bounds when you don't like how someone responds.

    But get over yourselves already.

Why are you still here derailing the thread? Go away already.:wavey:

The false premise troll is getting fat today.

Yep there's that continued attempt to justify. Must have gotten that from those shameful folks who are gonna vote for the democrat.
