Now More Than 500 Economists Back Romney Economic Plan

Washington, D.C.: Economists for Romney (E4R) announced today that 526 economists have now signed its statement in support of Governor Romney’s economic plan.

The statement gained additional support from economists across the country, including those at Florida State, Carnegie Mellon, Michigan State University, Colorado State University, Marquette University, Wake Forest University, and the University of Dayton. It also gained support from several former Federal Reserve presidents and governors.

Today’s announcement comes less than a week after E4R announced that more than 400 economists signed the statement.

That is really fascinating, but economic digit heads do not elect a President. Electoral votes elect a President selected by average Americans who work for a living. No doubt that Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, and for that matter, New Mexico will cast their electoral votes for Obama.

You have got to be kidding. I live in a state where Romney will get 60% + of the vote. Romney has a small chance in Florida, but the state is without a doubt in play. Florida depends on how the seniors react to Medicare and SS proposals.

They are all in play. I will guarantee Obama is no dummy and is ruthless. As much as is humanly possible, the swings states will be manipulated to surge right before and up to November 6.

Personally I hope Romney carries everyone of them, but those who want Obama defeated, especially in those states, need a dose of reality.

Good point, a poll or the opinion of a group of elites are not a good measure one way or the other.

There's only one economic plan that even has a chance at working. Start all over again without putting a bunch of private global banksters in charge of the economy this time.

Anybody pushing anything else is blowing smoke.
