How does Gen 5:22 relate to climate change?

    Genesis 8:22
    King James Version (KJV)
    22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

    How far out of wack must the seasons get before we declare this verse inoperative?

    God established seasons and a natural heat/cold cycle. That is all....that is awesome...that is for God's glory. The idea that we mere men can thwart God's plan for His creation is simply idolatry.

    How long would the goofy weather have to continue in our "corn states" before we might conclude that "seed time and harvest" have not continued? 10 years?

    Well, there was seven years of famine in Egypt;

    Gen 41:30 And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;

    Not everyone is experiencing drought, here in New England farmers are having an exceptionally good year. Others are having a bumper year as well.

    The premise of the question is false. We are still having all seasons. Not sure what would drive someone to ask such a thing.

    If God's covenant to Noah only means that it is (for example) OK for God to kill all the people in Europe and Africa by starvation while "saving" Baptists in North America then the covenant is a sham.

    I am convinced that climate change is goofing up the "seasons." If God permits "the seasons" to stop producing food fit for humans can we say that the Noahic Covernment still stands?
