What did you think? Will it help him win?

Telling how Obama threw Israel under the bus and telling Putin he has some backbone was good stuff!

I thought it was an excellent speech! It will likely help some with some undecided.

I agree to be honest and all kidding aside. His VP choice was good. He may turn liberal like his record in MA, but he will be held accountable. He said in his speech he was for the right to life and traditional marriage. I can only take him at his word. The point is, there is no chance Obama will support right to life and traditional marriage.

I held my nose and switched channels from Fox to MSNBC to see the enemies response to the speech and turned just in time to hear Chris Matthews...puuukkkeeeee. I couldn't believe the lies out of Mathews. He first talked about Romney's statement about Obama going around the world apologizing..he said Obama never did that. Then he said Romney was war mongering by make his Israel statement and backbone statement about Putin, like there was no reason to since Obama has good relations with Russia. How does this guy continue to be paid to lie for MSNBC? He said other lies that I cannot remember, but WOW. Sadly democrats who love MSNBC will believe it. My dad will probably say tomorrow how Romney is lying about Obama. Man this stuff really makes me mad.

I do not think anyone is excited about voting for Romney. He is what we have to work with. Romney can do no worse than Obama, and there is a chance he will do better.

I agree, I'm not a big fan of Mitt. I'm not sure I will vote, but I must if I want Obama out. I'm just sick of the lefties lying so much. You watch at the DNC convention you will hear numerous times how Obama created 4.3 million jobs. But you won't hear how many vanished at the same time. maybe it's not a blatant lie, but is not telling the whole truth.

It reminds me of the signs I saw in Reno, NV in an overnight stay a few weeks ago. In the casinos, there are signs saying "we paid out $50,000,000 last week." What they fail to mention is that they took in $300,000,000.

You still have a REAL CHOICE (not just an echo!), you know. There is STILL the CONSTITUTION Party!!

(Remember, the GOP was once a "Minor" third party whose first candidate for POTUS LOST, BIG TIME TO THE DEMOCRATS!!.......AND it was the Democrats who ONCE favored a very limited federal govt, that the central govt strictly abide by the US Constitution [which NO WHERE states that the POTUS can: 1) Rule by EXECUTIVE order, and 2) Calls for an out-right declaration of war by CONGRESS before putting any of our military people in harm's way!!]. IN FACT, the FIRST DEMOCRAT president, Thomas Jefferson, thought so little of his two terms as POTUS that he didn't even want the fact that he ever was POTUS on his gravestone!!)

Good lines, empty slogans and very short on details.

I'll give him a B+. It will help him win over some undecided voters.

They've got to keep pressing Romney's history of turning around failing enterprises. The budget is failing, the economy is failing, job growth is failing under Obama. Time for a turnaround expert to be President. Keep plugging away at that theme and he can win.

You should know CTB. Your little demigod has been spouting them for about six years!

    CTB...

You have always been a fair poster here, and you probably don't deserve the treatment you're getting on this topic. However, we know the details about Mr. Obama's Presedency - we live under it and are suffering the consequences because of it. Leaving aside the debate about his real intentions (which will be made clear if he is reelected), a quick study of Chicago politics should provide sufficient details for an outsider.

Hope and change in 2008. This year: No Hope, No Change. Yet folks like CTB will eat it up!
