Enjoyed it overall. Not thrilled with a couple of references he made. I had no problem following it.

Parts were unscripted according to cable news. Sort of rambling but good political points were made. Empty chair represents empty suit. Empty chair represents a lack of response and leadership to America's problems. Empty chair represents frustration of many voters who have been marginalized and disenfranchised by obama's policies.

I liked it. I could have done without some of the crude remarks but for the most part I thought it was clever. Obviously Eastwood didn't articulate too well but all-in-all I though it was good.

I think you all are being a little too kind. And that's OK. He is 82 for pity's sake.

I thought it was very clever. He made his points in a very creative way, and that's a good thing. Sometimes we forget that even when dealing with serious issues we can be lighthearted. This is actually an important point in an age when liberals are stereotypically seen as fun and free while conservatives are boring sticks-in-the-mud.

His voice was shaky, which is to be expected given his age and the likelihood of his being rather nervous.

I understand this morning that it was almost fully ad-libbed.

For people more tuned-in to politics, his speech may not have seemed very well done; but I think that for others who are not usually interested or are jaded, it could be viewed as a breath of fresh air.

Actually I am being real and question some of the criticism of him I have seen.

I liked his movies for the most part. I think the overall speech was ok, but we could have done without the off the wall comments like "I can't tell him to do that to himself." The phrase was obvious. I kind of look at this like Aiken, we do not need anything that gives ammo to Obama and his henchmen.
