Has everyone seen the new TV show being touted? It's called "The New Normal" and yes it is all about homosexual normalization. I watched a couple of short advertisements and was totally grossed out. They have really gone too far this time. If this show evens airs, I think I'm in a foriegn country. I truely feel we are a minority now. The immoral humanistists have taken over.

I find it incredible that within the general population there is perhaps 2% - 5% of homosexual people but on TV it seems every sit-com has at least one gay character, so the percentage in TV Land is about 25%. Hmmmm......

    No Big Surprises....

Between stuff like that..Glee, the Kardasians and Honey Boo Boo...is it any wonder that our country is headed in the direction that it is? And I might add that MOST of what is on "religious" TV is false doctrine. There are a few good programs on from time to time but they are definitely in the minority. My suggestion...more time in the Bible and serving in ministry, witnessing, etc., and less time in front of the TV....and I'll be the first to say that I need to follow my own advise more faithfully. By the way....that may be THEIR "New Normal"....but it will never be God's....or ours if we are right with Him!!

What is a "Honey Boo Boo" ....something tells me it has nothing to do with Yogi & Boo Boo the picknick basket stealing bears at Jellystone park!

Never Mind... Wikipedia filled in the blanks!

"Reception to the show has been mixed,[3] with some viewing the show as controversial.[4] The A.V. Club called the first episode a "horror story posing as a reality television program"

    Yeah...Now Ya Know...

That show and one TLC's other ones..."Toddlers and Tiaras" are, in my opinion, nothing short of parental CHILD ABUSE. I despise both of those shows.

Unfortunately there already is a show called Normal, Ohio. It starts John Goodman. I found it on Hulu a couple weeks ago. I was excited because he is talented and I was looking for a new sitcom to enjoy. Sadly, Goodman plays a gay man. It was right in your face from the start of the show.

They say you can never go home again especially when you've come out of the closet. In the half-hour comedy Normal, Ohio, creators and executive producers Bonnie and Terry Turner ( That ‘70s Show, 3rd Rock From the Sun) and Bob Kushell (3rd Rock From the Sun, The Simpsons) team with John Goodman, one of television's most gifted and respected comedic actors to examine what it means to be true to yourself and true to your family no matter how supportive and unforgiving they are.

It is not normal. It is sin. It tears families apart like any other form of sexual immorality. I won't go into details now but this sin has had a horrible, and deadly, impact on my family.

    Thank You...

Bro.Rick...Thank you for your comment...maybe we ought to agree to pray for each other about the TV thing. It is sooo very easy to sit there in front of that thing and be a passive sponge. Probably 85% of what we will likely see is a huge waste of God's good time (which we are supposed to be redeeming). I have a significant problem with it...so does my wife...and probably most everybody I know. It could well be called a scourge on our generation. That's probably another thread!

By the way...I am curious....why do you have a picture of Joel Osteen as your avatar? I don't mean that in a mean way.

Do ever wonder why the libs want us to use such non-threatning terms such as "Gay"? Becasue it is a netural term - so - uh - thats it accepting.

I REFUSED TO ADDRESS SOMEONE AS GAY! I use the proper term of homosexual- period!

I gave up on regular commercial TV several years ago.

Switch to public television. There are really good programs there, like Masterpiece Theater, Masterpiece Mystery are two examples.

    Lark Rise in Cranford
    Doc Martin
    Downton Abby

are other examples of excellent programming.
