Romney was correct to criticize the apology that came out of the Embassy in Egypt and the State Department for some anti Mohammed film!

Yes, he was correct to criticize them for their apology for "hurting muslim feelings."

I never realized how biased CNN was until today. They have attacked Mr. Romney so much, I finally emailed them, for whatever good that does. They are just as biased as MSNBC.

Fox News (Bret Baier) gave the full time line and Mr. Romney did not jump the gun, he was correct. Moreover, the demonstration was not over the YouTube film, it happened on 09/11, same with Libya. Now they are saying the Libya was a well thought-out planned attack. So the film is just an excuse. We should NEVER apologize for our freedom of speech and we should NEVER seek to appease these radical islamists.

In fact, we shouldn't even have embassies in Egypt and Libya or be sending them billions of dollars in military aid or otherwise. Stupid. Bad Foreign Policy.

Actually, I've been quite surprised at both CNN and Fox over the last few months.

CNN has shown a surprising downward trend regarding support of Obama; while Fox has shown an increasing amount of opinion pieces supporting Obama.

Both are still extremely biased; but it's interesting to watch the trend, especially as we get closer to the election.

I said in another post about the same thing. We should have no embassies or fianacial interests in any Muslum country. If they give us a problem, wipe them off the map. In fact, we should withdraw from the UN, kick them out of our country, and make alliances with individual nations or a small group. We cannot be friends with countries that hate freedom, life, liberty, and human respect.

Well, you know, SN, I always thought that an attack on one of our Embassies was an Act of War. I just checked with an older person (my mother who is 83) and she said it is. So, when did this definition change and who changed it?

I regard it as an act of war. I am really upset with the words coming from John McCain today, (saying he was hoping we would not give up on Libya or something to that effect) - I know he is a RINO, but this is quite disgusting.

Also, Obama plans to go on campaigning even though he has the gall to condemn Mitt Romney.

BTW, I read from outside news sources (not in US) that the Ambassador was tortured and dragged through the streets - looked at the pics posted from arab web site. Supposedly 2 Marines were killed in addition to what was reported here on cable news.

Sometimes one thinks as a nation we have forgotten how we felt September 12, 2001. Remember the Prince of Saudi Arabia trying to make a donation to the families, and an official in New York told him to keep his money, to be nice about it. I do not care if they are Democrats or Republicans, why do our leaders feel the need to play appeasement with Muslims while we shun Israel. Our logic is 180 degrees backwards. The only embassy we should have in the Middle East is Jerusalem. How many billions of dollars have we spent in Eygpt and Pakistan? When Iraq becomes a terrorist state again under new leadership, what did we gain from 4,000 American lives and trillions of dollars?

The two Marine lives lost in Libya to me are worth more than the whole nation. Maybe if we wiped out one city for each life, it might not happen again. The thought of people who hate liberty, freedom, and decency taking the lives of Americans who are risking their lives to defend those qualities infuriates me. As far as I am concerned, the blood of those Marines is on the hands of Obama, McCain, and all the other spineless politicians. There is absolutely no leadership coming from Washington. Ignoring the economy and jobs, that one act ought to cost Obama his job. If it were not so close to the election, impeachment would be in order.

This reminds me of Clinton in Somalia when they dragged our Marines through the streets. It also reminds me of Carter allowing the hostage crisis go on for 400+ days. If Iraq reverts to a terrorist state, the blame falls right at the doorstep of Obama and Bush collectively. This kind of nonsense has been going on since Vietnam when LBJ (worst President in history until Carter and Obama came along) would not allow the troops to use every means at their disposal to win the war. Remember LBJ and the USS Pueblo.

Republicans do not have a stellar record in this area, like Bush in Iraq, and when the 183 servicemen that died in the bombing of the barracks in the early 80s. However, the vast majority of leaderless foreign policy comes from the Democrats.

This is exactly why we have no business in the UN. The Constitution is quite clear. It spells out the procedure for alliances and treaties with other nations. It is either a bilateral or multilateral treaty with individual nations who respect our values. No where in the Constitution is there authorization for our armed forces to come under another authority in the form of the UN. We need to withdraw from the UN, and kick the idiot delegates out of our country. They can rebuild in Iran.

I saw something about how the major networks covered the reaction from Romney to the confusing statements from the current administration.

    Here is the link: http://washingtonexaminer.com/how-t...cy-bungle-into-a-romney-gaffe/article/2507779

Right now the best friend the Romney campaign has is FoxNews and the DrudgeReport.

This incident has huge repercussions for the President's administration, especially if there is no reciprocity soon. (That will be difficult enough since this was clearly the work of a small band of miscreants.)

I just don't understand how the President can jet off to Vegas for an event with this kind of a major crisis on his hands. Makes no sense to me.

I agree...this is an act of war. Why wasn't something done? Isn't it enough that the embassy people were threatened and nothing was done about it until they were killed??? Why are we letting this socialist President embarrass our country and allow citizens to be killed
abroad?? WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

Apparently he still has not acknowledged what happened in Egypt and what is happening tonight. He gave the Muslim Brotherhood Govt. $1.5 billion and apparently $1.3 billion is to follow.

There is something seriously wrong with this president and his administration. At his announcement about the murder of the four Americans this morning, actually yesterday now, he showed absolutely no emotions. There is a word for that type personality, certainly narcissistic, perhaps sociopath, perhaps psychopath.

I have commented in the past about his insistence on pulling the trigger on drone strikes. There is obviously something mentally deficient in Obama. Perhaps psychopath does fit, perhaps all three, especially given his attempts to defeat legislation in the Illinois Senate that would protect babies alive after an abortion.
