Karl Rove's American Crossroads Super PAC is out with a new web ad today, blasting President Barack Obama over his administration's botched response to the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya.

Splicing together images of the attack with clips from the campaign rally Obama held that day, the narrator asks "What did President Obama do the same day of a terror attack on American citizens? He campaigned in Las Vegas." The video later slams Obama for skipping meetings with foreign leaders in New York last week, while taking the time to appear on The View.

"When American embassies were attacked by terrorists, President Clinton responded with missiles," the narrator says. "And when foreign leaders needed to meet, President Bush put his campaign on hold. President Obama needs to learn being president isn't just about being on TV and protecting your job. It's about leadership. It's time for a president who gets it."

It ends with a voice-over of Obama telling the ladies of The View " that he's just "eye candy."

Overall, the effect is pretty damning. Watch the whole video below:

It is an excellent ad, but I am beginning to think most voters are brain dead.

I believe most Obama voters are uninformed on the issues and just vote liberal because they are told to. This country is truly controlled by a corupt media who hoodwinks the simple minded voters. I'm convinced if everyone who votes was required to go through classes to inform them of the important issues (both liberal and conservative)and their impact on us all, we would see the GOP win every time. IMO

Karl Rove, one of the neocons who led us into the disasters of the first decade of the 21st century.

Splicing together to spin a tale and hide the truth.

Who would you attack? The government of Libya was not involved in the attacks. The government there gave their condolences and have gone after the terrorists ... as has the people of Libya. So who do you attack. The innocent just so you will feel better?

Quote taken out of context for political purposes by Rove.

Damning if anyone still believes that a war hawk like Rove should be listened to in decision making. How many disasters do the neocons have to lead us into before you discover they are wrong?

Rev, aren't you one who condemns Muslims for violence and now you advocate violence. No wonder the Mid-East Muslims see Christians as violent war-mongers.

Me thinks you are going to wake up on November 7 and Obama will have won reelection. Why? With an economy so bad? Because those with your mindset have sat on their backsides for the last four years, doing nothing until right before the election, and post videos that are an average quality at best. The same commercial could have been made about Bush on September 11, 2001 to pursue a liberal agenda, which would not have been accurate.

Now, it seems that every thread you start glorifies a nominee that anyone twenty years ago would have been ashamed to vote for. What have you done for the last four years to make a difference except sit in your office and post non issue threads about Obama. Have you ever given any thought to the verse we reap what we sow? One reaps what they deserve when they hold up a cult member who worships a false god, who at one time was pro abortion and pro gay rights, as the candidate every Christian should do cartwheels for on the way to the voting booth.

    Unbelieveable.

    You are ignoring the context.

It also says that Bush met with foreign leaders.

The author is talking about the difference between Presidents that lead and do the job and Obama who is not.
