Zaac asked that I open a new thread to ask him my question. Here it is:
Originally Posted by Arbo: I asked, " Name me one truly viable candidate who has any chance whatsoever of getting more than ten percent of the popular vote."

Zaac, you replied, " Understand me when I say that I don't care about a viable candidate at this point. We had the opportunity to choose someone who was Christ honoring. We did not and now one of the two major non-Christ honoring candidates will win."

You have suggested in the past voting for write-in candidates. After being asked, you offer no names. Why is that?

If you'd rather choose what you consider to be the perfect at the expense of the better, then you will have no moral right on November 5th to complain if Barak Obama is reelected.

Zaac, I hand it off to you now.

About the only time that would work, would be in local elections, or possibly a somewhat organized group such as the Constitution or Liberation Party, or if there is only one major candidate party running.

When I ran for State assembly, there was only a Dem (no Rep) I ran on the Conservative Party line (actually on the ballot, and I received 15% of the vote - with virtually no campaigning

The two main third party candidates are Gary Johnson, former governor of New Mexico, for the Libertarian Party. While their platform centers around little to no government involvement in the lives of its citizens, it also includes a belief that drugs and prostitution should be legalized. The main impact of this candidacy will be to help the Democratic ticket in New Mexico and possibly surrounding states.

The Constitution Party candidate, Virgil Goode, is a former Congressman from Virginia. While the platform is wonderful, his speeches remind one of watching grass grow. Although less impact than Johnson, it could take votes away from Romney in Virginia and surrounding states.

Other third party candidate impact is not significant.

Because most people who write in a name will decide for themselves who they write in.

You must mean who YOU and most of this board THINK is better because I certainly don't think that one anti-Christ is better than the other anti-Christ.

As to my moral right to complain, what can anyone do to take that away?

as for complaining, i'll continue to complain about what CHRISTIANS have done to bring us to such a level of immorality in the country.

I've got to tell you, I was really ready in my mind to give you the benefit of the doubt. I was beginning to think that I had misjudged you.

That you continue to talk in circles, complaining about the state of things with no suggestion (especially when asked for one) how to make it better other than to write in a no-name candidate makes be revert back to my original belief that you are a troll. If you are going to complain or debate, at least be intellectually honest enough to offer a more specific solution than to vote for an anonymous candidate that you refuse to name.

Now, it's possible that I am mistaken and that you are the real deal; but the lack of straight answers to specific questions and the anger and lack of grace in your posts cause me to think that you aren't genuine.
