There is a misconception among believers that SIN is what separates them from God. That in order to find favor with God they must not do any thing "bad".

According to scripture there is only ONE condition that will not be forgiven, and it isn't suicide (another misunderstood topic) and that is according to Matt 12:31 ""Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven."...meaning, that if one hears the gospel "The Good News" of how Jesus died for ALL their sins, how they need to repent of their sins and make Jesus Lord of their life, and if they really meant it in their heart, that the Holy Spirit will come in and GIVE them new life, and now have eternal life and fellowship with a God they didn't have before. Whew, that was long....OK, so one hears all that and the HS is nudging them to respond and they do not....that REJECTION is what separates man from God which automatically sends him to Hell. Hell is basically everything that is opposite of God...

    God is LIGHT....Hell Darkness
God is LOVE....Hell is gnashing of teeth and pain
    God is COMFORT...Hell is torment
    God is GOOD...Hell is bad

I'm sure your still wondering well if our sins doesn't separate us from God what does?
It is the fact that we were born with a SIN CONDITION!

That is why Jesus said in John 3:7 "YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN" To Nicodemus...and Nicodemus wasn't getting it, he said..."how can a man go back into his mothers womb"...and Jesus went on to tell him it was spiritual, not physical...He basically was saying we are all born in a sin condition because of Adam, and He came to RENEW it. Now although God forgave Adam and Eve their sin through the SHED BLOOD offering (Forgiveness and Faith) and covering of an animals after they repented. God set into motion a series of events and conditions...one of those conditions was that mankind would be born SEPARATED SPIRITUALLY from God....

Man is a 3 part being, BODY....SOUL (mind, emotions and will)....SPIRIT. That is the way God created man, but man blew it by disobedience and now is born only BODY and SOUL.
When one comes to the age of accountability (whatever that may be...individually depends) and hears the gospel, if he SINCERELY YIELDS to this CALL, his SPIRIT which was dead, is now made alive, enlightened and now this person can have fellowship with God that he couldn't before...NOT out of fear or brownie points, but because of mutual love and respect. Like any good marriage.

See, the point is we still have to deal with this BODY (Paul says this in Romans 7) and our mind, emotions and will. So we still SIN, and will keep doing so till we go home and get a new body and a new mind.

In the mean time, when God looks down, He doesn't me the SINNER, but Jesus's RIGHTEOUSNESS IN ME, Paul talks a lot about this in Romans..."His blood made me as white as snow"...therefore in God's eyes I AM RIGHTEOUS, not because of anything I have done, but what Jesus did for me.

So next time you hear or think what you do or don't (Sins of commission and omission) determines your STANDING with God, just remember God LOOKS at the HEART and man the outward. All sin does now is EFFECT your RELATIONSHIP with God, not who you are In Christ, Your standing or position with Him in Heaven, or how much he loves you...like any MARRIAGE your sin and communication will either draw you closer to God or further away...HE NEVER MOVES...YOU DO and I DO.

    >That is why Jesus said in John 3:7 "YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN" To Nicodemus...and Nicodemus wasn't getting it, he said..."how can a man go back into his mothers womb"...

It was a NEW concept never before been taught not found in the OT. "Born again" is only used on two occasions in the NT:

    John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

    John 3:7
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

    1 Peter 1:23
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Why then did Jesus rebuke Nicodemus as a ruler (Bible teacher) for not knowing this if it had not been taught in scriptures:

Jn. 3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

New birth was taught repeatedly in the Old Testament under various metaphorical descriptions:

    1. Circucmision of the heart - Deut. 30:6

    2. Being given a New Heart - Deut. 5:16; Ezek 36:26

Furthermore the lost man's is spiritually "dead" not that his spirit is nonexistent. Death means "separation" not non-existence. What is born of Spirit is spirit (Jn. 3:6). The lost man does have a human "spirit" in distinction to his soul but it is his spirit that is "separated" from God.

    1. spirit = other world consciousness
    2. soul = self consciousness
    3. body = outer world consciousness

The dead "spirit" of the lost man is very much in union with Satan (Eph. 2:2 "in" them) and it is through his human spirit that the lost man perceives and communicates and fellowships with demons and by which demonic power is channeled through them.

Regeneration is washing/cleansing his spirit of demonic defilement and renewing it back into union and fellowship with God.

Not sure who you are talking to, but I said we are born spiritually dead and because of that are separated from God.

    Please stick to the OP.

It is a koan, unanswerable from the information available to Nick. Jesus, being God, understood the wisdom in Buddhism.

"but man blew it by disobedience and now is born only BODY and SOUL" - Matt22:37-39

What you said was that lost people do not have a "spirit" and that is wrong. You simply misunderstand what "dead" means in regard to the human "spirit."

It does not mean their spirit is NON-EXISTENT but rather their EXISTENT "spirit" is SEPARATED from God spiritually as described in Ephesians 2:1-3 and Ephesians 4:18.

No God does for their sins, because Christ did not have their sins imputed to them for Him to die for them, so they must die in their sins ! They were Created by God vesseld of wrath, He purposedly created them to be Justly punished for their sins as the opposite to those He purposefully Created as Vessels of Mercy to be forgiven for their sins by the blood of Christ !

Yes I agree sorry for not being technical...But I did say the same thing in other parts of the OP..man is born spiritually dead separated from a Holy God...why does every one on message boards try their darnedest to find FAULT instead of finding the RIGHT thing someone said and focus on that?

Everything I said makes perfect biblical sense and is SOUND doctrine!

When a production process produces more product that is out of spec than is acceptable then the production line is shut down until the problem is fixed.

Either God's primary goal is producing people for Hell or God can't fix the problem or most Christian interpretation is wrong. Follow the money. Has anyone ever gotten rich by preaching a universal salvation?

If it is wrong it is wrong and what you said was wrong there and so are many other things you said are just as wrong. Ultimately the only thing that condemns men to hell is sin. Unbelief is merely another sin and root of all other sins. Sin originates from the unbeleiving heart as the unbelieving heart is separated from God and cannot be saved. That is precisely why God must give them a "NEW heart" (Ezek. 36:26) upon which he writes the law of God (2 Cor. 3:3).

Jeremiah taught it, that we needed to get a new heart from God, and many of the prophets referred to similiar thing!

that is why Nicodimus should have known what it meant, being 'expert" in the law!

God reckoned/imputed to us ALL the judgement against Sin that he charged Adam with!

we are born seperated from God, as we have a sinners nature and are sopiritually dead

Even IF a siiner could keep the law as jesus did, which NONE could do, Still would have judgement for being found in Adam, and receive the due penaly Adam received!

You want to get technical ok, God sends man to Hell because if you were NOT chosen before the foundation of the world and written in the lambs book of life you are going to hell...how about that? I believe in predestination.

Our "HEART" refers to our WILL...the part/accountabilty that every man has according to the OP in Matt and other places is YIELDING or SUBMITTING to God's call, before salvation and after....God does the DRAWING, CALLING, SAVING and KEEPING.

BTW, if I am so wrong then how come that website I use to back up things I say...( I don't look it up till after I have said what I have said.) AGREES WITH ME ALL THE TIME?...probably because our FOUNDATION is accurate NOT wrong.

I've been taught by one of the best there ever was when it came to proper hermeneutics....so doubt very much I am wrong.

Acording to the scriptures Christ has taken every single sin ever commited, past, present, and future, opon Himself...completely erasing our sin debt.

Because of His unimaginable work on our behalf, we live in a state of constant, un-ending forgiveness.

All of our sins, past present and future, have been completly atoned for on the cross

We access this complete forgiviness through faith. And the pardon is contingient upon faith in Christ.

Faith in Christs sufficiency...wich results in Christ indwelling the sinner, and securing the sinner into Christs body...securing them eternally for heaven.

In return, the sinner begins to experience a new kind of living here on earth.

A life centered on Christ, and Christs life in the child of God, rather then a life centered on *SELF*.

    GLORY BE TO GOD!

Wrong again! There is no scripture in the Bible that says God predestinated anyone to hell or chose anyone to go to hell. All men are "condemned already" including the elect as they are children of wrath EVEN AS OTHERS - Eph. 2:2-3.

Election is only UNTO salvation but never unto damnation.

Wrong again! The term "heart" refers to the conscious innermost part of man which includes both intellect and emotions which are manifested by will. Indeed, both terms translated "will" in the New Testament are terms that describe which aspect is primarily directing the will.

    1. Boulomai - will under the direction of intellect - determinate will
    2. Theolomai - will under the direction of emotion/lust -

The "new heart" versus old heart is the difference of CHANGE from hate of light to love of light and love of darkness to hate of darkness and the change of unbelief to belief. Hence, both the intellect and emotions have been transformed and the will is simply the servant of both.
