In another restricted thread we are being given a classic pre-mill teaching on the church that many have found fault with....we can talk about it here":

This error was posted and is believed in many places today.

The church is all throughout the NT. What do you say about it? We are not afraid to discuss this openly so we will not restrict it to any one point of view.:type:

I do not believe that anyone has said they are afraid to speak openly about it. And it is reasonable to restrict a thread from time to time to keep a more specific purpose.

Having said that I am praying for those whom God has not given the grace to understand the rapture of the church.

I believe all christians believe in the rapture. It happens on the last day even if people do not like the word itself. The newer views say it happens at different points along the way.

If God gives the grace to someone to obtain new life (forever & anon) why would he not also provide all the necessary things to completely understand end times rapture (if its truthful)?

    Is God sovereign?

Does God want man to understand His word?

If man cannot understand and he wants them to has He then failed?

If He has not failed and man does not understand then that necessarily leads to God did not offer the grace for man to understand, otherwise He failed.

9 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Three times Jesus says...the last day....The verses offered in the premill scheme do not change this.

Neither does your interpretation change this:

    2 Peter 3:8-10 (KJV)
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

your the free will guy, you tell me. I would say that if he was offering grace then in his good mercy he would then provide the understanding.

If men do not understand then either God has failed or He has not given the grace to understand.

Ephesians 1:1-3 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

    Christians are not lacking.

Where in Scripture is the so-called pre-trib snatching away of the Church? Where in the Scripture is the doctrine of a "parenthesis" Church taught?

If the heavens pass away and the earth melts where will Jesus Christ sit on Davids throne?
