A recent Gallup Poll shows that 3.4% of those surveyed were LGBT. That is something considering that this small minority has had such a dynamic impact on the social mores and values of the majority. This poll shows just how well organized the LGBT group is, especially in the way they have moved states to allow same-sex marriage, push the federal government to ban the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy, and make major changes to California schools by getting their own history placed in the curriculum and allowing teachers to take a portion of class time to explain that it is perfectly okay if a fellow student has a mom and mom or a dad and dad.

I think this report shows that the LGBT is actually a silent majority that is no longer silent.

So what is wrong with the church? In fact, I have to ask, when did the once powerful voice of the church disappear off the face of this earth? Why has the church given up the fight? It's only 3.4% of the population, not 30%, or 45%, or even 50%.

The church has allowed the schoolyard bully to gain the upperhand, and that my friend is a tragedy, and surely a disappointment to the multitude of witnesses that look down upon us from view in heaven [hebrews 12:1]? :tear:

    See: http://www.examiner.com/article/family-research-council-squawks-about-gallup-poll-on-lgbt-population

If these numbers are, in fact, true, it reveals the strength of the minority, and when it comes to SIN, it is a sad day. Maybe America needs to be judged quite heavily as some believe it will be!

    Shalom :type:

I Never Felt Like That. On the Contrary...

...I feel like the top 10% have done well in helping this nation to become what it has become by giving back by way of charitable giving; business development; employment opportunities; leadership; mentoring; and positive outreach to nations beyond our shores.

Sorry, while you see the glass half empty [regarding the top 10%], I see the glass half full!

And while you are putting down the 10%, remember this one thing. It is often the money of the 10% that fill up Obama's coffers and war chest. Just look at that Hollywood dinner two weeks back. Five million dollars were raised on the front page of the top ten percents checkbooks, which contributed to Obama's $50,000.00 a plate fund raiser.

My, oh, my, just where would you r man be, without the top ten percent???
