Evil in the sense of natural calamities, disasters, circumstantial disasters. Consequences of earthquakes, floods, wars, etc.

Even those things are fruit of Moral Evil. God Created the moral evil that brought about the flood that destroyed the first world. Gen 6:5-6,17

5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.

    Isa 45:7

7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

Job experienced such "circumstantial evils" and God said that it was not due to any moral deficiency found in him. However, his friends thought like you do and God rebuked them.

Don't you remember what you write in your own posts?????????? You said and I quote:

"Even those things are fruit of Moral Evil." - SBM

That was your response to my words which were:

Evil in the sense of natural calamities, disasters, circumstantial disasters. Consequences of earthquakes, floods, wars, etc. - TB

I will tell you what is the rabbit trail. You can't respond to the evidence rationally or reasonably or Biblicially. Such providential "evil" came upon Job and it was not because of any moral deficiency in him. So your blanket answer is wrong!

    Job is an interesting case.

    >Evil in the sense of natural calamities, disasters, circumstantial disasters. Consequences of earthquakes, floods, wars, etc.

BUT these events are due to the way that God designed and is operating (governing?) the universe that he created. At worst, they must be amoral.

Satan didn't create/invent new natural events to harass Job. He used stuff that was already in the world, right? He used the stuff that God made?
